Since everyone is talking about the rape, -I get it guys I felt so depressed after that, and I live on the other side of the earth. - I wanted to start this discussion. I have thought about for a long time. But I just don't get how people come out on this sick act, that makes me realize there is no such thing as humantity. I don't judge you all. It is just the conclusion I came on.

So My Question for you all;

Why Rape?

Are the mental and not able to see it is wrong?

No consience? Don't they feel quilty?

Did they get depressed that no woman they tried to flirt with did not go so far?

Is the taboo of our culture that when they get to learn about sex, they go too far?

What is that thing that made them decide that they should rape someone and not search for some cute girl to marry or live with a start a happy family?

I myself am on the other side of the world and this has really got me depressed i also thought the about the questions you have been thinking of !

I can not imagine what happened on the bus it gets me so upset and them 6 men how the hell can they do such an act !

My answer is they not human ! they don't have a heart nor feelings to feel guilty ! they not got mother's nor sister's they cold blooded demons !

The fact is dear, and I have taken a lot of time thinking about this; They are human. And there is nothing that is going to tell you they aren't there is no proof they are alien. The are 100% human. And it is so hard to accept, that people are capable of doing this. I just can't get there with my mind. The day I read precisely what happened I cried a whole night and got flashes of a girl screaming, I tried to imagine how the pain must have felt, but I couldn't imagine. It was so intense. This was so sick. And this happening helped me to see, that there is no such thing as humanity. Humans are capable of doing anything, and it is not something to be proud of. It is sick. And depressing.

They did have mothers, and the maybe do have sisters, brothers even maybe.

But girl, I couldn't explain so well how I felt then as you do. It is the exact same situation I was in just a few days ago.

Perversion is always deemed as incurable by people suffering from it.

Hence they vent it out in such inhumane ways.

Indeed, you have people who think like that, you have people who go to far with that thought and actually rape someone and you have people who don't do a thing against it. In my opinion is not going against the same as agreeing to it. So with that you equal to an sexobsessed uneducated human - I wanted to say animal, but then I thought, why abuse those poor souls, they haven't done a thing. Animals, at least are nice to their own speci. People kill their own kids and kids their own parent, cause of society or they are mentally extremely unstable.

But that is my point. This happens so often. Some people see it as normal. So how come inhumane. They are just as human then us. They are not alien or something. I diverted the human speci in two groups, the mentally stable people and the unstable people. The depressing part is that those actions are still very human. Which causes me having no faith or expectation from humanity.

I have a 4 year old daughter after i found out about the rape and what actually happened i held her and hugged her so tight and i couldn't sleep for nights i couldn't eat ! I was so upset and i couldn't imagine what her mother must have gone through.

To me they aren't if they were they'd not have portray such act on the poor innocent girl and i heard 3 them are pleading not guilty so that means they don't care and not shamed 😭 people who do such deeds are nothing !

I think this is just an animal instinct still present in us (not all, not even most). I think rape in animal kingdom may have had evolutionary benefits (i.e. survival of the species with more offspring) and through the evolutionary chain it has been passed down to us.

I have heard men used to drag women by their hair and rape them during stone ages.

Thankfully most people have evolved socially so we understand concepts like fairness, morality etc and comprehend the gravity or extent of this nauseating crime. Some just haven't evolved out of their early primate form.

All animals have "minds" - a few have shown to have advanced/complex brains, similar to ours. This is also why we have such complex moral philosophies and ethical systems. We can differentiate between the right from wrong and understand rape is a crime - this is where our intellect, reasoning and morality kicks in. But that is because of social evolution. However, as far as biological evolution goes - all animals follow their basic instincts. We, as a species of superior intelligence, know rape is wrong, murder is wrong, theft is wrong and so on. Because we can override our instinct by our intellect and reasoning, and because we have a more complex moral center somewhere in the brain. I was explaining why rape is common in animal kingdom, and why we, as another animal species (albeit ones with much superior intelligence) is no different. Unless I am mistaken, we now have lower rape rate than we did back in the stone age. It will go down more with stricter punishment and as we socially evolve more.

People who have not evolved out of their primitive mindsets should be locked behind the bars.

Yes, in an Ideal world they would. But I think those rapists thought very well about this before doing this. They could have stopped when she started crying and pleading to stop, they could have stop when she started bleeding. How can you not realize that what you are doing is wrong? That is so... so, I don't know what to call it. How can you drive in the Delhi traffic when you know you just raped a girl and threw her out of the bus?

Such a thing like taking the wrong bus or missing a train shouldn't mean you have to fear getting raped and killed. I feel so depressed.

I don't know what to think about them. I wish we lived in an Ideal world. Where people know what right is and what wrong and chose right.
