Summer in the northern hemisphere or the southern semisphere or both?

If I was born in winter in the northern hemisphere, should I avoid moving to the southern hemisphere lest I end up less educated?

If one's kid's are born in summer in the northern hemisphere, can they fix their mistakes by moving to the southern hemisphere?

Does this apply on the equator? Is the equator considered perpetual summer or perpetual winter?

I'm a spring daisy. Where do I figure in all this? Or should I be content with being an academic pinata?

On a serious note, I'm really interested in delving deep into the notion of the seasons having some effect on mental output or productivity. I do believe Earthly cycles and other planetary influences affect our bodies more than we think they do.

I m June born and done with my post graduation so what does that mean šŸ˜†?

Waise, we never know... there might be some credence to this research šŸ˜† I mean u do hear all sort of stuff (not based on accredited research .. more of conversations amongst friends) about the psychological effects of your region's climate ... That people born in hot climates are more likely to be short tempered šŸ˜† and there is apparently a correlation between Norway's cold climate and its high suicide rate šŸ˜›

So according to a report published by the National foundation for Educational Research, me as a child would have had to be seen by a psychiatrist or been dubbed as a child requiring 'Special Needs' solely due to the fact that i am a summer born :O LOL. I guess my parents were not intelligent enough to conceive me during one of the winter months *sighs* :P
Anyways!...The responses that i have got are very much interesting and humorous! I had a good laugh reading some of the comments. I fail to understand how some researcher's fail to foresee the down side of their research. Are they even collecting reliable data? Or are they simply being bias? :S In my views, they are not looking into depth and are simply just underlying their research on the grounds of local statistics and not global. There are SEVERAL summer born's out there who are higher achievers. Just today i had a chat with a teaching practitioner, she had informed me that majority of her students last year were summer born's and they very able children, but then again her students this year who are summer born's are struggling :S The thought of summer born's being less likely to attend universities happens to sound like a great emphasis and down right ludicrous. I Understand one of the point that the research has pointed out in regards to 'age on starting school'. Development differences are greatest when children are young, suggesting that age on starting school maybe important because the youngest children are least able to cope with the demands of a 'formal curriculum' and they are more likely to struggle because they still don't have that sense of maturity compared to their peers who are autumn born, the age gap between them is wide and can make a significant difference in terms of cognitive development.

Note to All: If anyone of you do come across any literature opposing this statement then do inform me, since i am very much focused on proving this point wrong. It's abosultely ridiculous to think that there are numerous articles out there which supports the statement but none against :|
Oh and if its acceptable them i might just use all of your responses as a reference, that is of course if you all are okay with it? All information collected will be anonymous.

Thanks for Posting! Adious..x. :)

@Xoxo. April kid here. Poor litttle me...I'm screwed up for life. 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe that's why I'm opposing to the article so much. šŸ˜†

LOL Mona. The research is unreliable and very faulty. I'm a may Born. Must be a miracle child. šŸ˜†

I am August born.. No wonder im so DUMB but still got accepted in Uni, survived passed and got accepted on masters now šŸ˜†!

Listen up Winter born - Research, shows you guys are more Bigger, Brighter and more Successful! WOOHH CONGRATULATIONS!

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/babies-born-in-winter-are-bigger-brighter-and-more-successful-523070.html

Oh and btw, i feel sorry for all the April Born, Poor Kids born in April, are most likely to develop wide range of diseases... TO ALL THE FERTILE WOMEN! please plan your pregnancy according to this research, and July is the worst time to fall pregnant in, as that means your child will be born in April ( Following the baby is born on time) and will be most likely to develop wide range of illness... Please try to get pregnant start of the year so you have higher chances of giving birth to a WINTER BABY.

Ridiculous? OF COURSE NOT! šŸ˜†... Ps, i wanna know which month this researcher was born in.

Xoxo

LMAOOO!!! Give me a moment to myself while i make use of my 15 facial muscles plus spasmodic skeletal muscle condradictions. In relation to your comment about planned pregnancy, i have actually read an article which targets mothers to fertilize during the 'right' months. I would advise all fertile women to keep their hormones balanced and await for the 'right' time LOL. Bizarre!

OP, please ignore the naysayers and please please share more information. This is so far the most interesting topic I have come across.

I would love to see some of your research on research on people born in other seasons too.

Ola ! Don't worry i made this topic focusing on people's responses in relation to the topic title. I need some opposing comments for the better of my Research paper lol. A good academic piece of writing is not favorable without a balance argument. I myself am in contrast to the statement, due to the fact there are several summer born known to me who are have a very cognitive mind, but then again no assumptions can me made without any reasoning right? Sure, I would love to share my findings with you. If you want to have a little insight into the research i have come across so far, then drop me a PM. :) Toodles.

Yeh done phD in how to waste time on useless research to earn easy money. Intelligence to me is not measured by which month an individual is born in, CEO of FB ie Mark Zukerberg is a summer baby, and im sure their are hundreds of notable figures that are Summer born, April born etc... Rather then wasting time on such petty research maybe if they spent more time on Cancer research or Epidimiology then people would have more quality life.

Anyways, thanks topic started i had a great laugh reading this. šŸ˜†

yeah
i was wondering that the researcher (PhD) muz be winter born ... right??šŸ˜‰šŸ˜†
