So even suicides are out😆

last I heard the laws regarding suicides were about to change. It would soon cease to be punishable. Under the earlier law one could be punished for failing to commit suicide whereas one who succeeded escaped any punishment! The body too changes with time as do a lot of things

I believe that people dont change for others. Never. something as critical as taking a conscious decision to change is only because of fear of loss, not anyone's happiness. Often these changes are temporary cuz no matter how long they last, the day their fear of loss subsides they come back to square one. This is in reference ti habits usualy.
Secondly comes the change one undergoes because of experience in life. It is usualy gradual, but can be damaging in extreme situations. Damages are irreversible when no effort is taken to heal them nd I feel.this is the change in real sense

Yes overeating is slow death too.
Some of the suicide bombers are promised plenty of women on the other side😆
If the country is under attack I guess they have no choice but to defend the country.
But Suicide Bombers should target their enemies and not shopping complexes, public places and places of worship. There should be some guide lines.

Jaise yin'yang, light-dark, positive-negative, good-evil waise change-consistency !? 🤔

Actually, and this makes for an interesting statement -
For change, you have to be consistent; which is the opposite of change!

Change is inevitable. But is there any variation if one is in group or has to look out for change individually?
The history itself has shown various forms of change- revolution, freedom be it for nation, but they were initiated by human beings in group(may be lead by 1 individual rest falling in steps).
But does it variate when it comes for individual stance? May be yes, because it will be one man show (your Personality) the affects, the views/impression perceived by people.
The impression created shape the Attitude of the person, say towards the individual or even an object.
Change in one's life can be like new/modified features in a gadget. You want to be on with the latest trends or best say move on with time, you will buy them, but whether you implement them or not lies in your hands.

So everyone agrees that change can occur whether volitional or imposed. It could be temporary or more long lasting depending on the alignment with ones belief system.

So where is the hitch?

Why are we not able to bring about the change we desire to see in ourselves and in others?

If change is inevitable we ought to be able to bring about the desired change.

What hinders and can anything be done about it?

If yes, what?

what if the hindrance is nothing but a 'mask' you put on & move about. Even though there is desire to accept, gel with all cna it not be hidden beneath a mask?

If the person deliberately puts on a mask for whatever reason, there would be no difficulty to shed it whenever required or desired.

If the mask has been donned due to some hesitation or doubt then that would have to be addressed first to be able to take it off.

Not very sure why you see the mask as a hindrance. Hindrance for the one who wears it or for those amongst whom he moves with the mask on? Some people could see through the mask but maintain a discreet silence out of courtesy or respect for the wearer's sentiments.
