On most points there aren't any/minor points of difference... but u decide your path depending on a)the scholar whose teachings you follow OR b) do your own study of the available material and decide which one makes most sense (to you)
Is it the right path? we sort of leave it up to fate 😆
Yes i m Shia .. But about the above ... its not dismissed merely bcos u dislike it... There tend to be discrepancies ... hadiths contradicting each other ... different interpretations of pretty much the same word/event .. eg reason for Shia sect's emergence? Shias believe that at Ghadir, Prophet Mohammad declared Ali to be the Caliph after his death .. Sunnis don't dispute the event.. they say that Prophet said Ali is his friend...I honestly don't know much about Ayesha .. but just before the post was closed for the first time ... some member posted stuff which seems to dispute the historical authenticity of those hadiths attributed to Aisha about her age... So when there are contradictions.. u go with what makes most sense to you.. and your own inherent faith
I'm not too familiar with Shia Hadeeths, the main contention between the Sunnis and Shias is over the issue of succession as you mentioned, as a result, the Shia's reject narrations that have not come from Ali or members of Muhammad's family.
However, as far as Sunni Islam is concerned, there is no disagreement over Aisha's age, Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and Sunan Abu Dawud are all unanimous with regards Aisha's age at consummation.
There is also a Quranic verse which specifies the iddah term for a girl who has not yet started menstruation, which implies that child marriages were acceptable by society at the time.

have they 😕? Minimum age is from the onset of menses 😕
Not quite, in premodern times, the concept of puberty differed amongst cultures, it was a culturally subjective term, and different societies defined puberty in different ways.
In Islam, a girl can attain puberty in four ways:
1 - Nocturnal emissions (wet dreams)
2 - Hair growth around the private parts
3 - Reaching the age of fifteen
4 - Menstruation
If any of those signs manifest, she is considered pubescent. So in theory, a girl can be considered pubescent even before she has started menstruation, and thus eligible for consummation.

U mean other than the faith aspect? I know i don't have much to go on after that😆 I do remember reading that most of the verses were present in their textual form even during the life of Mohammad (PBUH) (though those texts are lost now) and i dont think there have been changes in the text of Quran from the earliest discovered copies till now ... so like Jews and Christians out there... i could say that even if Quran isn't in its original form now (which us Muslims inherently don't agree with 😆) i'll make do with what is available 😛
I said it was compiled into a book form decades after Muhammad's death. During Muhammad's lifetime, bits and pieces of the Quran were indeed written on perishable materials, which were ultimately lost, most of it was supposedly memorised. However, the compilation of the Quran into a single book happened much later.
During the reign of Uthman, there were many different versions of the Quran floating around, and Muslims disagreed over which verses were authentic, as a result, Uthman initiated a project to compile the Quran into one written book form, and to destroy all the other copies.
Also, the Sana'a manuscripts discovered in the 70's in Yemen, believed to be the oldest existent version of the Quran available, already shows discrepancies between that and the version of the Quran we have today.
