yes I had and still having couple of bad experiences.But don't think I have been dumped by any guy and that's why i am hating all guys.I have so much hatred for them that I never ever fell in love and have decided to not marry.

I am a victim of eve-teasing like other girls.My male classmates used to send me and my friends cheap messages and one of them even emotionally harrassed my friends.Many female relatives of mine have dreadful husbands.

Jonaki – I am sorry that you have had negative experiences with men. I know that eve teasing and other such forms of harassment can be very heartbreaking. I grew up in India, and I've seen and experienced my own share of eve teasing. I've also seen abusive men, cheating men and unhappy families. But that is no reason to hate men, because these examples are just a very small fraction of men in generation.

Eve teasing and poor marriages in our desi society are not exactly the byproduct of men being terrible. It is a byproduct of society, and society consists of men and women alike. For years men have not been raised right and taught to interact respectably with women, society has not put expectations on men. But once men realize the mistakes they make and understand how to treat women, there is a significant change in behavior. In the past ten years many parts of India have significantly change, eve teasing has gone down and women are starting to enjoy more and more freedom and security each day.

That being said even amidst the eve teasing, I've met several guys throughout my life who have been all round good human beings and treated all girls with respect. Not just their mothers or sisters, everyone. I've seen several women find great men, have happy successful relationships, get married, have kids and enjoy really happy fulfilled lives with guys. Yes there are ups and downs, but altogether it's a positive experience. For every female you think who has had a bad husband, I'm sure there will be hundreds others who will testify to having a good husband. You can't just hate blindly, you have to get to know people and only then decide if they are good or bad. That goes for men and women.

And yes guys can get thick at times and be insensitive to frustrations and emotions. But then think about it, who likes to be hated, that too by someone who does not know you, especially without having a fair chance. People are bound to react and get defensive if you act only in hatred. Open up and talk with a free and fair mind. I'm sure there are many guys who will offer words of wisdom, comforting words and help you handle unsavory guys or advice you what to do in some situations. Honestly, sometimes guys can help you with genuine issues with other guys.
