There's so many instances where I ask myself the same question, most of the time I never have an answer🤔😆

Btw Gauri, I loved your response. Maybe not as a husband, but men in general aren't so bad when it comes to fulfilling other roles like brothers, uncles, cousins, grandad etc

I wonder if I'll ever be able to find myself a 'man' who fulfils the role of a husband well too? Hmm.

Gauri has pretty much expressed a lot of same thoughts as I had.

Jonaki, I feel that it is really unfair of you to have such a strong grudge against men. There are millions of women across the world who have admiration and respect for the men in their lives – husbands, sons, brothers, teachers and even friends. I'm not sure what you mean by reserved, but I'd say that perhaps your third part observation is not enough to gauge men in general. Men want only sex and money, men treat women as objects are really very extreme and unfair statements about men. Granted men are different from women and have a different perception on physical aspects of relationships – but men are human too. They too have their own emotions, thoughts, perceptions, world views. You cannot judge men superficially and label them like that, you ought to give them a chance, get to know them, where they come from.

I'm not saying you need to say men are all good or like all men. Indeed there are flawed men. At least hold a status quo. Don't make a judgment call on all men, don't dismiss all men with some stereotype. Give each man an opportunity to stand up on his own merit. Get to know them. If you still feel someone is a douche, fine, some people are. But I am sure you will be surprised at how many men are just ordinary good human beings and decent individuals.

Also remember women are not perfect either – even women have their own share of golddiggers and maneaters.

Just find a nice guy who respects and loves you and who you respect and love. There's no perfect man. or woman.

I agree, there isn't. If only if it was just that easy! You can easily find a guy whom you respect and vice versa but the whole 'love' factor is not as easy. There's just so many things that have to be taken in to account.

Or maybe I just expect too much!

well love is all about getting familiar with that person and just accepting him or her whor who he or she is.. thats how love happens a lot of the time. although you might find someone who fits a set criteria and he loves you back in return. :)

I think when the time comes, I won't be sitting here thinking about and listing all the qualities he should have. When it happens, it'll feel right! If it doesn't, then maybe it's not meant to be.

I know what you're thinking OBJ..Dia watches way too many bollywood movies😆
