I honestly don't get people who have to share their relationships with everyone. Although not everyone who does it on FB is trying to tell everyone. But if a relationship is complicated you tell close friends at least because thats your social support network.

I don't mind people sharing their relationship status - being "single" or "in a relationship" is totally okay with me. I show up as single on my FB page. And I'd be mad too if someone who I was in a relationship with labeled himself as single on facebook. Grrrrrr. But most desis are single on facebook - despite their real relationship status. They just don't want their parents to know and freak out. 😆

Telling your friends and screaming it out to the world (like on a public FB profile) are two very different things!

At the end of it, a status goes like ..
Phewww ! I'm Single again.

Yeah, those are the crazy ones you want to stay away from ... can't make up their minds. Once, there was a girl I went to high school with who went from being single to being married with a wedding picture as her new profile. We were all like WTH! When the heck did that happen? And thanks for the invite. 😆 😆

Beats me. I only crave chocolate and Italian food. 😆

I guess some people feed off of attention - it makes them feel more significant. Either that, or they lack the maturity needed to keep personal things out of the public sphere.
