with all the rubbing that the CWG planning is getting I hope India comes out shining 😆 Some more heads ought to be rolling soon 😉 The rain in the city has broken all records of the past decade ! Its adding to the woes of the dug out streets. The whole city at prsent resembles some excavation site ! Didnt the govt take the the rainy season into account while planning for the CWG arrangements 😕
As someone posted earlier it looks like the present govt in Delhi never expected to come to power this time and have to deal with all these arrangements .

For the present govt, it turned out to be the case of "Man proposes; God disposes"😆
Thank God I am visiting Mumbai this year. I usually always go to Delhi when ever I am in India but not this time😆 I will wait till they are done with their whitewashed wrap ups.
Seriously, the present state of affairs is pathetic. Petty power squabbles are kept above and beyond one's duty towards the nation. I remember last time when I visited Delhi, my dad had high hopes of some good coming out of all the beautification plans announced for Delhi and greater Noida area for CWG. Delhites kee sari ummeedye dharashayee ho gayeen.

Its the turn of the common man to dispose these wo/men in power now 😆
Its too bad really. lot of ppl had high hopes from this event. The student volunteers still have no clue as to what and where they are supposed to be doing as volunteers !

Mumbai isnt much better during monsoon either ! Flooding of streets and mile long traffic jams are a common sight during monsoon. Delhi normally does not have so much rain , but the rain Gods decided to vist and inspect the CWG site this year 😆

Unfortunately, the common man is not presented with decent enough choices for them to dispose off the current batch.

😆 how about starting out as helping hands for the contractors who are way behind schedule! If nothing else then just for some real life work experience and first hand understanding of how the system works😆

KANGAALI MEI AATAA GEELA ker diya indra dev ney😆🤣 I'll be in Mumbai in last week of Sep. My brother said monsoons/flodding almost ceases by that time. Unless the rain god decides to pay me a visit😆 Since I will be on vacation, the traffic jam does not bother me one bit. I won't be shopping this time around.

They will go for stop-gap arrangements that are no good anyways in the long run. Like I said numerous times before - our problem is NOT coming up with a plan. Our main problem is implementing that plan correctly and seeing it all the way to the end. CWG preparations (if I can call that fiasco "perparation") proved me right once again.

when it comes to implementation , it leaves a lot to be desired ! The perks of these politicians ought to be performance related !

You are assuming that performance appraisal will be a transparent process performed by an honest person. They know how to manipulate and present data to make black look white. Remember the article that showed the number of rich people surpassed poor in India?
