Well, they are just worried about their athletes. More so because, the racial attacks on Indians in Australia can cause their athletes problems too..(Ricky Ponting got threats from Shiv Sena, and many other Deccan Chargers' cricketers from Australia also got threats when they toured Orissa for IPL games.) So it's obvious for them to be apprehensive. Wouldn't we be if Indians were touring Australia?

Indian wrestler Sanjay Kumar won the fourth Gold for India on Tuesday in the Commonwealth Games 2010. Wow..!!

These Aussies make good athletes..No worries, India is going to lead the table..They are biggest contingent, and some nice talent too :)

No it is not, in the last CWG IIRC Aus stood first and had 80 golds whereas India finished 4th with 23 (?) golds.

It is true that Aussies do make good athletes, but you never know. And the last CWG was hosted by Aus only no? So they must have been the largest contingent..Number also matters right? 😆

Plus, we have some good, recognized sportspeople like Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati, etc..We can hope :)

Unfortunately, not just in the last CWG but many other editions seems to have been dominated by OZ. They top the cumulative historical tally as well . Following is the cumulative tally before New Delhi'2010 edition. But we are 5th position though, which is not bad in my opinion.
