yup..............thats most definitely a virtue. many people only know how to "dish" things out but not "take" 'em when the same is "dished" back to them on the same platter.........thats hypocricy i agree.
"give and take" is the mantra of fairness😃

thats a good point, though the dictionary meanings of "regret" and "sorry" would be found to be synonymous....

however, as u said, the implications of these terms might be different at different contexts.
but generally, regardless of how much u mean it, when one is "regretting" something and asking to extend an olive branch, that means theres some feeling of "guilt" or "sorry" at play.
g'night😊

Not really. They may just want to move on and an attempt to mend bridges - whether successful or not - may give them a closure.

That said; I also realize that one may interpret things based on which side of the coin they happen to hold. So yeah, there could be numerous interpretations.

Yep, g'night for sure now. Loads of work tw.

but i wonder how much of this is actually possible.......can u do it? forgive someone who has hurt u badly in the past?or forget some irreparable harm that u have expierienced from him/her anywhere?????/
do u forget or forgive easily?
P. S. : I dont............lol😃

Depends on many situations . However, forgetting things is a good choice.

Moreover, it depends on the person as well. When someone like USA extends a friendly hand then its not a sign of "weakness", but a sign of "friendliness" (hence good intentions).

Instead of USA consider a general case. Suspect everyone, but judge someone by the actions. If actions are good then its good and its bad if actions are bad.

Those who try to understand others feelings and emotions they can forgive others....Those who are judgemental...they never forgive or not try to think about others feelings and emotions.....then they pray to God to forgive thier mistake...those who dont forgive others how God forgive their mistake...I believe It is not a calculation, it is not arithmetic...its part of humanity or love.😊
