Okay I have watched both. Interesting but I find the second one better as it required much more acting skills and was more realistic eventhough some may find it a bit too weepy. But here again if someone is watching the movie from the begining to the end it would be a lot different as the audience love to see the bad guy being beaten to pulp ( eventhough it is all acting).

Yup the second one is better. Mammootty is amazing in potraying sadness. You will cry with him when he cries, that's what makes him a great actor:)

In 1993 Priyadarshan remade 'Kireedom' in Hindi as 'Gardish', starring Jackie Shroff and Amrish Puri, consolidating his Bollywood career. First film to be produced by Amithab Bachan as he got inspired watching the original.

1st scene- I felt bad for the watrmelons that got squashed under Mohanlal's weight. Poor guy kept getting beaten and beaten, till he had to use a stick to beat up the enemy. Though I liked the myriad of expressions of his face afterwards.

2nd scene- This one I didn't even bother to watch. It looked so depressing. I stopped when the heroine came charging in through the water, saying something like "Ram, main as rahi ho" 😆 The only thing missing was the song "Janam dekhlo mit gayi dooriya" 😆

You didint read the plot. I gave the plot so that you understand what is happening. It's not Ram or seetha or anything!😕 It's 'father' and 'daughter'!

Thanks. Acting is often very natural to some and in many ways come naturally.
I posted the movie Casablanca before and this is something which none should miss.

Sorry Pogo ji, but I really have a hatred for emotional scenes. I like action and mystery and horror movies better.

Good hope your speaker can be fixed. Try and catch the oscar winning movie. Ingrid Bergem was one of the most naturally talented actress. Movie is relatively short but it condenses so much story and emotion and action.
