Kireedom (1989 film)

Plot

The story revolves around Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal) the son of Achuthan Nair (Thilakan), a Police Constable who wishes to make his son an Inspector one day. Sethu, a college graduate, has many opportunities to enter different fields but he goes with his father's dream of becoming an Inspector. Achuthan Nair gets transferred into a town whose residents are troubled by the rowdy Keerikkadan Jose (M. Raj). The police force in the town turns a blind eye to the acts of Keerikkadan Jose. One day Achuthan Nair gets information that Keerikkadan Jose is creating trouble in the market place. Being an honest police man he goes on site to investigate where he takes him on. Hearing of trouble Sethu too rushes to the market place. Achuthan Nair is no match for the goon and Sethumadhavan tries to intervene before his father gets killed. A fight ensues between Keerikkadan Jose and Sethumadhavan and both are arrested by the police. Since he managed to defeat the reigning rowdy, Sethumadhavan is typecast a rowdy by the people of the town.

After recovering, Keerikkadan Jose targets Sethumadhavan and his family. With the police failing to protect him, Sethumadhavan is forced to fight for his life and ends up killing Keerikkadan. Sethumadhavan is sentenced to prison for murdering Keerikkadan and hence is disqualified in being a Police Inspector. Head Constable Achuthan Nair reads the Police Verification Report which states Sethu as a "notorious criminal".

Amaram (1991 film)

plot

Story of achootty(Mammootty), a fisherman and his daughter.The uneducated Achootty wants his daughter to be educated and also want her to become a doctor. His dreams get shattered when she falls in love with her childhood friend and marries him. One day the guy goes for fishing and dont come back. Now people think that achootty killed him. Even his daughter refuses to listen to achootty. Now Achootty rescues the guy from sea and brings him back. The daughter asks him forgiveness, he accepts the apology and leaves in his boat, leaving her behind forever.

debu watched the videos?

1st scene- I felt bad for the watrmelons that got squashed under Mohanlal's weight. Poor guy kept getting beaten and beaten, till he had to use a stick to beat up the enemy. Though I liked the myriad of expressions of his face afterwards.

2nd scene- This one I didn't even bother to watch. It looked so depressing. I stopped when the heroine came charging in through the water, saying something like "Ram, main as rahi ho" 😆 The only thing missing was the song "Janam dekhlo mit gayi dooriya" 😆

You should watch the rest yaar, that's the best part😊 Where he talks to the daughter who comes running to him. When the sea tide rushes to him he tells her that the sea is calling him and that no matter who all leaves him the sea wont, then he leaves in his boat leaving her behind
