Lets say there is something called "that" and we are all part of it. All the universe is part of that.

One problem is that will "that" allow us, as a part of it, to fully understand itself? Moreover, if it is so then it will allow us to go by its rules and it will determine when that happens. Thus going by its rules sound the right path, but knowing those rules itself is the difficult part.

Regarding understanding the universe: apparently things happen according to some laws. There may be randomness, but there is some order as well.

Which is why I turned it around and started with me. The "I" in my question "Who am I" was not referring to me, per se.
Regarding randomness and chance, how many chance events did it take to get to today? I will try to come up with a brief list. The initial state of the universe was a singularity by chance. At the beginning, all the forces were unified by chance and all the matter / energy was concentrated by chance. The universe expanded faster than the speed of light in less than a split second by chance. All the subatomic, fundamental particles came out of nothing by chance and combined to produce all known elements by chance. The universe has a uniform structure throughout by chance. The earth is located the right distance from the Sun by chance. The tilt of the earth's axis which gives us the seasons is so tilted by chance. A bunch of really complex chemical reactions led to nucleic acids by chance and life came by chance. Reproduction happened by chance. Homo-sapiens descended on the scene by chance.
I am not convinced that "this" happened by chance. At least as of now.

Sir, I agree that the universe was created by chance. But I don't see what point you're trying to prove? This is like a philosophical question that no one can answer. IMO, no one has attained that intellengence or intellect to say this for a fact. This is a very debatable question but the answer is not known. You are entitled to your opinion, but then you can't possibly back it up and neither can I. So, I mean, it's like a cycle.

Moreover, according to mathematics, if things are infinite then the median will be infinite or undefined too.

Math is but one subject. So is science. So is medicine. So is philosophy. So are a host of others. None of them are the be all and the end all when understanding "that".
Not all infinities are the same. You could start with 1 and go all the way to an unknown number. Then you multiply every number with a 2 and still go all the way to infinity and beyond. The first series is not the same as the second series. And yet, you would reach an unknown number.
It makes sense to think that your thoughts are limited by how good you are at speaking (or thinking) in a language. It makes sense but again I am not sure if that's an accurate statement.

Mister.K, how could I have missed your DM debut? I have been hoping to see you post here for so long. Anyway, it is too late night for me to do justice to this topic. I definitely will have some thoughts to add and some questions to ask when my mind is more alert.

Although, that does bring one thought to mind. Is the mind constant? Why does it make a difference if my mind is tired or alert? Is a thought not just a thought?

I doubt that you are looking for a biological explanation which a physician might give you. Assuming you are not, my answer is that you make a conscious decision to take a break and refocus on what is more important to you. It's not that your mind is tired; it's just that you want to take a break. You already made that choice much before the so-called event (tired mind) took place.

Logically to continue in this finite world a bit of ego or the false "I" is needed it seems. But once the univesal "I" is experienced it would be quite a challenge to continue to stay here in the finite world.
Some say that the soul is caught in a dream world and by repeating the Mahavakyas we might we able to wake up from this dream state that we are in.

This very closely matches with what I had in mind a couple of days or weeks ago. However, I mad a conscious decision not to get married to any one single thought or view. I am exploring all options and implore you to do the same.
