worrisome China?

The latest in the string of seemingly anti India activities by China is the building of several Dams across rivers like Brahmaputra the lifeline of NE India. Now India will B at Chinas mercy for release of water & risk of floods . Do U think India has cause to worry or is it over reacting ?

India most certainly has cause to worry. China wud b a more formidable force to reckon with than Pakistan who was enuf of a mischief monger as it is.

But satellite images show the presence of several dams !

Its very unfortunate i feel. China wud b a tough nut to crack unlike Pak

May B China is deliberately provoking India. First the border dispute, planting of stones with China written on it into Indian side, sep Visa pgs to kashmiris, kashmir shown missing in Indian map, financial aid to pak, protesting Dalai Lamas & PM visit to Arunachal, our troop movt, & now the dam dispute. I forgot to mention the fake medicine contro.

I think China is building up to something. China is starting to find many issues concerning India. China is building up points to accuse India. This looks to be the following strategy:

1) Create an issue
2) Accuse the other using that issue
3) During diplomatic negotiations say that ok we will keep quiet but give us this and that.

End Result: One looses something for nothing and the issue creator gains some benefits just by creating some issues out of air.

I think India should be very much wary of China. It should try to turn the tables by reminding China of human rights violations in their country. It should give full support to Tibet issue, etc.

At the same time India should try to become stronger and stronger. India should try to build a coterie of friends to gain some diplomatic advantage.

India should not do any foolish compromises with China like during Nehru's Regime and things like recognizing Tibet as part of China.
