After a while a topic has been created which interests me and forced me to log in..i have around 30 mins lunch break, then boring classes after that..here are my view points.

Their should be a balance in everything, balance in life..balance in relationship, you need both to weigh on the same scales....Agreed it has been proven that girls mature faster than boys but thats not the case in every gender?! In relationship more important than their age, which is nothing but merely a number is their chemistry with me and how i connect to them. Certain questions which needs to be asked before committing myself to anyone would be, is that person compatible with me?! ..and if the answer is yes to that question than i have no problem in giving myself to him even if that means he is younger than me. Personally i wouldnt marry a guy who is more than three years younger than me though unless in exceptional cases.

Having said that...My parents age difference is 10 years..My dad being 10 years older than my mum and they have been married successfully for 25 years now. In every relationship you need to compromise a little to adjust, ..life experience can bond people more than the number of years they have lived.

Another point, Your only asking about the age gap in the relationship...how old they are before committing to each other is different story altogether, if a 16 years old boys commits to an 18 years old girl..than the chances of their marriage surviving is slim since none of them have reached the maturity to handle such a big decision themselves. However if the marriage is between a 24 years old boy and a 26 years old girl etc..then they are probably mature enough to differentiate whats right and wrong for themselves. So more than their age difference, its the age they make their choices at, that matters most.
