I saw Nikittasha doing classical dance, dance looks good. But I am confuse about one thing, I did not see her feet movement according to the beats(beat was very fast) of song, although her hand and head movements look good. I do not have any knowledge of dance, so my question was her feet movement appropriate for that dance and song? Only expert comments needed.

Yes her feet movements were. What she did was a Kuchidpudi dance. Classical comes in many forms. Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, and so on. Bharatnatyam requires a lot of foot movement. I've been trained in that classical form for 7 years. But Kuchipudi is a lot about expressions. For the particular dance she did yesterday her feet movements were all correct. Her performance did not demand as much foot work as usually is required by classical.

Kathak & Bharatnatyam has more footwork which goes with the beat...Kuchipudi, manipuri, and some of the other forms are more about expressions..Tashu was wonderful in her performance...It was great seeing different type of classical dance...
I am not trained dancer nor I have knowledge on most classical dance so can't tell you which form of dance she performed..But it was great dance and superb...

You are right di...Kathak and Bharatnatyam have rigorous foot works..Niki attempted a kuchipudi her form of dance, and in it there is more of handwork with lot of expression...
