talent may fetch a person a sidey bit role in a dance troupe or a movie. u need personality, looks, TRP whateva to take it further. hard work is a given.
there also is focus and there is focus. the focus on salman's family was good and not over the top. it was not shameless pandering, like what we had with others.

Sorry dude I disagree with you. If you have talent anf you have the determination to prove that talent, then destiny will automatically support you. Look at today's stars, so many of them whom i've actually personally met have such rude personalities! Karishma kapoor for one looked like a gem of a person in NB but gosh i'll never forget that day she was soo rudee to all her fans!🤢and it ain't just her. For me remo doesn't really have looks/personality but he was determinted to prove himself and voila he did!😉
but yeah I thought giving salman's family like a 5 minute slot was just dragging-I mean they had his sister, his brother, his mum AND his dad speak. When did that last happen 4 a contestant?😕completely agree with andy about step motherly treatment by zee

This dude rocks!! Every week he has something new to show! He's making history with his signature steps every time he comes to rock the dance floor!
Really don't wanna see him in the bottom again! Along with mayuresh and alisha.

remo looks better than most indian males. he is fit, he is smart, doesn't have a paunch, is not bald, speaks well. better than some pip-squeaks😊

ya next we can also talk about zee's step-motherly treatment of beggars because they dont put beggars on for an hour on prime-time. shall we? 😆 just to clarify, zee is not running a charity. it has got no motive to be anyone's step-mother or grandmother. they will put on what sells. unfortunately for other contestants, their hard-luck stories dont sell well. salman and his family on the other hand carry themselves well and make for good viewing. that's life. if other contestants want more air-time, they should go out and get themselves a new personality or a more tv-friendly family.😆

I think you're reading to much in between the lines. I wasn't literally referring to the fact that zee should treat them like their own children but if there's certain treatment for once contestant, then others should get treated in the same way too. So if paulson got disqualified for injury, its only fair that mangesh does too. I personally don't see how salman's family are good viewing or how in anyone "they sell" like you put it.
I don't know much abt salman's family so won't comment on them but i dunno what's so awesome about them like the way you say they are.😕and i don't think its up to you to judge whether contestants have a 'tv friendly family' when you haven't even seen mayuresh, alisha or jai's family yet.

>>Di, like Vrushali's FB says, "talent speaks for itself and hard work pays in the long run"...
Salman has talent and is hardworking. It is the extra focus which Zee and the producers and mentors giving him may prove the deciding factor over more talented and equally hard working dancers.
>>salman and his family on the other hand carry themselves well and make for good viewing. that's life. if other contestants want more air-time, they should go out and get themselves a new personality or a more tv-friendly family.
So other families do not carry themselves well, is that the implication here?? So you need a large family to make for good viewing?? Vrushali had one of the best TV personality and her family looked very decent. Shame on Zee that in the elimination day, they never focussed on them. Vrushali had the presence of mind to thank them in the final speech.

jai is definitely an amazing and versatile dancer, but i feel like when people vote, they look at the overall package too. for instance, the week siddesh behaved rudely with the judges, he received less votes and was in the bottom 2. so the janta does pay attention to how people act and their personalities, whether that's a good thing or not. the reason salman gets so many votes is because not only is he a fantastic dancer, but he has a wonderful personality and is very humble. he's a package. jai, however, may be really talented, but he comes across as arrogant and conceited in many of the limelight videos. his attitude and the parts of his personality that are shown to the janta don't help create the same overall package in the janta's eyes, and thus he doesn't receive the most votes despite being one of the most talented dancers on the show.

In USA I have seen only 2 limelight episodes, they just started transmitting them.
I do not know how the guy who keeps on saying 'Thank you so much' can come across as arrogant.
It was funny in the last episode Jai kept on saying TYSM so many times that Jay B also started saying TYSM by osmosis.

i live in the US too, but i watch some of the limelight videos online. I remember him saying that he was the best out of all of them. whether or not thats true, you dont say something like that. also, in the last limelight video he kept saying "i did stunts too with the ladder and everythinggg so why did people vote for sunita more than me?!" he seems a bit whiny and slightly immature as well. just because he says TYSM all the time doesn't mean he's not arrogant.

Do u call the work of a cobbler talent? if yes, then u need help!
and in ur whole post, what u r trying to say is that LUCK is also important beside hardwork, u r NOT referring to talent, so be clear in ur mind first and then try to explain us.
Moreover, how does Salman family make a good viewing and not other's?? Other contestants have families too, they have also been working hard, their kids also want to make their parents happy then y aren't they shown?? Why should Salman receive that special attention? He himself is not a good selling package, it's his marketing by Zee and remo that's making him look like a good package otherwise I bet that Jai can beat him anyday in a faceoff!
and I am not going to pay any attention to ur posts abt other contestants anyways coz u urself have claimed to ignore the performances of other contestants, so if u don't even see the talent of other people, then how can u comment on it? U r just an extreme Salman fan who fail to see other things with an open mind.
