Ch-6 was really SwaDarshy one!!! Loved their moments together. 😃 Flashback part was funny though. Bechara Adarsh. 😆 Purely misconception and wrong information for Swa's dad and Adarsh's mom. 😛 But poor SwaDarsh had to suffer. 😭 But thanks to Abhay-Simmi, SwaDarsh r now back. 😉 (Though they r not couple still now, but the will.)
Ch-7 was nice too. Abhay saved Adarsh by returninf Swa's scooty in the morning. 😆 Asad teasing Swa. 😛 And he was feeling awkward towards Adarsh coz due to him, Adarsh got slapped. 😆 Finally Abhay managed to calm down Simmi. 😛 Aww! Both SwaDarsh r always thinking about each other. 😃 Loved Bhabh-Devar moments between Jaya and Adarsh-Abhay. 😃 But is Jaidev having affair with some other girl?? 😕 Really tensed for Jaya. 😔
Though its SwaDarsh story, I'm liking how u r including both Abhay-Simmi's story and Jaya-Jaidev's story along with our SwaDars's story too. 😃 😉 Update soon. 😛 Thanks for the pms. 😃

CHAPTER 8

Adarsh looked at his watch. It was around 4:15 pm. He had completed his work for the day and was waiting for his subordinate SSuj to look into a problem. Now he was waiting for Suraj to discuss about it. Once that was done he could go pick up Vanshika. He felt weird as he thought of it.

"Sir aapse koi milne aaya hai. " a peon told him.

" Iss waqt? Kaun? "Adarsh asked.

" Do ladkiyan hai. Keh rahe the ki aap unke dost hai. " The peon said.

" Send them in."Adarsh said though he had no idea who these friends were.

Barely a minute later he heard someone enter the room.

"Simmi. Swadheenta. "He exclaimed as he saw them. " Tum dono yahaan kya kar rahe ho? "

"Aapse milne aaye the. Aap humein dekhkar shock ho gaye ho? " Simmi asked smiling widely. Beside her Swadheenta smiled at him gently.

" Mujhe bataaya gaya ki mere dost aaye hai toh thoda surprised tha. That's all. "He told them as they took their seats.

" Hum aapke dost nahin hai? At least Swadheenta? " Simmi asked.

" Of course. "Adarsh said smiling at Swadheenta .

"Actually hum hospital jaa rahe the Simmi ke kuch tests karaane ke liye. Maine Simmi ko bataaya tumhara office yahin hai toh yeh tum se milna chahti thi. " Swadheenta told him.

" Woh mujhe aapse sorry kehna tha. Kal raat aapse theek se mili bhi nahin. Abhay se gussa thi toh chali gayi. " Simmi said cheerfully.

" Thats ok. Chottu ne tumse bahot rudely baat ki. Kisi ko bhi bura lag jaata. " Adarsh told her.

" See. Even Bhaiyya agrees it was Abhay's fault. Aur tum mujhe daath rahi thi ki maine Abhay ko bahot thang kiya. " Simmi said to Swadheenta.

Swadheenta smiled at her and said " Tum ne use thang toh bahot kiya. "

Soon the three of them were talking about a million things barely noticing the passing time. Adarsh told Simmi about their childhood while Simmi told him of how she and Swadheenta had become friends. Swadheenta blushed as Adarsh looked at her in awe. Adarsh was pleased to know how brave Swadheenta was even as a child. Swadheenta could say that Adarsh was growing fond of Simmi. She knew he was a silent man, yet here the three of them were chattering.

Adarsh had indeed found Simmi a amiable person though he could say she was Immature. She was talking jovially as if she had known him for a long time. Very much like Abhay. Even he himself had talked a lot. But he wished to talk to Swadheenta in private . He had to thank her for the previous night at least. But it didn't seem like he was going to get a chance.

A peon entered the room and told Adarsh that his brother was here to see him. Abhay walked in smiling.

" Hi bhai. hi girls. " He said smiling at their surprised faces.

Simmi hugged him tightly while Abhay kissed her gently on the foreheadAdarsh felt slightly uncomfortable at the display of affection. It wasn't that he was a conservative type, he just wasn't used to it. Swadheenta on the other hand seemed unfazed but she blushed when she saw him look at her.

"Simmi ne mujhe bataaya ki yeh dono hospital jaa rahe hain toh maine socha main bhi saath chale jaaon. Isliye inn dono ko lene aaya tha. " Abhay told his brother.

" Toh main nahin aa rahi hoon. " Swadheenta said looking relieved .

Abhay and Adarsh looked at her confused while Simmi giggled.

" Mujhe hospital bilkul pasand nahin hai. Hospital atmosphere se main thodi khabra jaati hoon So I avoid it as much as possible. Ahuja uncle aaj yahaan nahin hai isliye main Simmi ke saath jaa rahi thi. Par ab toh Abhay aa hai Simmi ke saath. Toh main jaa rahi hoon. "

"That's fine Swadheenta. Sab ko kisi na kisi cheez se aversion hoti hai. " Adarsh said seeing Swadheenta looking embarrassed.

Abhay smiled at his brother on the sly.

" Swadheenta tumhe driver drop kar denge. " Simmi told Swadheenta .

"Nahin , main Swadheenta ko drop kar doonga. " Adarsh suggested quickly and before Swadheenta could refuse he added " I owe you that. Please. "

Swadheenta couldn't refuse when he requested her. So she gave in.

" Swadheenta do you mind waiting for a few minutes? Mujhe Suraj se kuch baat karni hai. He will be here in 5 minutes
"Adarsh asked her.

" Thats ok. I will wait outside. "She said.

" No. You can stay. I trust you. " He said smiling.

" itni jaldi barosa nahin karna chahiye . After all main ek lawyer hoon. " Swadheenta replied with a wink.

" Lekin maine suna tha ki aap bhi meri tarah logon ki madat karti hai. " Adarsh said smiling .

Right then Suraj aarived.

" I will wait outside. I don't want to disturb you. " Swadheenta said leaving the room.

A little later Adarsh left his cabin and saw Swadheenta waiting outside. .

" Kya kar rahi thi aap? " he asked.

" I was taking a tour of Robin Hood ' s lair. " Swadheenta replied laughing.

They were on their way when Swadheenta asked him " So what do you think about Simmi? "

"Jab Abhay ne bataaya Simm ke baare mein toh mujhe laga ki shaayad woh galat faisla le toh nahin raha hai. Par aaj donon ko saath dekhkar bahut accha laga. Dono bahot similar hai. Childish, ziddi, impulsive. But most importantly tthey clearly love each other. Thats what matters." Adarsh told her.

" How can you say they 'love ' each other? " Swadheenta asked him a curious smile on her face.

" Main apne bhai ko acche se jaanta hoon. Life mein aaj tak use kisi ki itni care karte hue nahin dekha. Hum bhaiyyon ne kabhi mom dad ke khilaf kabhi nahin gaye lekin Simmi ke liye Abhay kuch bhi karne ko tayaar hai. Aur Simmi mujhse milne aayi, sorry kaha though she doesn't know me. Woh hamare family ki hissa bannna chahti hai yeh jaante hue bhi ki yeh uske liye aasaan nahin hoga. Sirf Chottu ke liye. I guess thats my definition of love. "Adarsh said smiling.

Swadheenta looked amused .

" Tumhara kya khayaal hai pyaar ke baare mein? "He asked.

" Something similar to yours. Do log jo ek doosre se pyaar karte hain unhe hamesha ek doosre ke saath dena chahiye. Kabhi apne partner pe give up nahin karna chahiye aur na hi apne rishte par give up karna chahiye. "She said smiling

Adarsh smiled . Another thing they agreed on.

"Smile kyun kar rahe ho?" She asked.

" Hum dono pyaar ke baare mein kaafi kuch jaante hain for two people who are not in love. "He replied.

She smiled at him. So he wasn't in love with anyone.

"May I play some music?" She asked reaching out to the stereo .

Adarsh turned it on for her and a sweet melody played.

Swadheenta liked this. The song. The atmosphere and his presence made her comfortable. She closed her eyes and relaxed. Adarsh saw her leaning on the seat calmly . He was happy. Her company pleased him.

He stopped at the street leading to her home.

"Thanks Adarsh. Main yahaan se chali jaaongi. "She said getting down.

He saw her walk away and part of him wanted to stop her and keep her there. Shaking off the thought, he took out his mobile from the pocket.

20 missed calls from Vanshika! !!!!

He had forgotten about her completely. His phone had been on silent since the a conference that morning and he had forgotten aboutit. He was late by an hour. He dialed her number.

"Vanshika, kahaan ho tum? I am on the way. " he told her.

" Don't bother Adarsh. Main airport jaa rahi hoon. " Vanshika said hanging up.

Adarsh felt guilty and drove to the airport. He saw Vanshika waiting for Yash. She turned away as she caught sight of him.

"Vanshika, Yash aaya nahin ab tak? " He asked trying to start the conversation.

" No. Flight late hai . Aata hi hoga. " She said curtly.

" I am sorry Vanshika. Ek urgent kam tha. " Adarsh muttered.

" Kaisa kaam? "She asked.

" Ek zaroori meeting thi. Ek slum ke logon ko..."Adarsh started but Vanshika cut him off .
Clearly she wasn't interested in his work. Usually it irked him a little but today he was happy because it saved him from the guilt of lying. But why was he lying? What else could he do? Tell his fiancee that he forgot about her because he was busy dropping another girl home?

" Its ok Adarsh. Mujhe pata hai tum logon ki madat karna chahte ho. Bas yeh mat bhool jaana ki mujhe bhi tumhari zaroorat hai." She said sternly.

Just then they saw Yash coming towards them. Vanshika ran up to him smiling and gave him a hug. Adarsh greeted Yash and after a short casual conversation they headed out of the airport.

"Adarsh, tum thak gaye hoge. Go home and rest." Vanshika said giving him a hug.

Adarsh thanked her and headed home.

He just pulled up outside his house when he saw Abhay 's car behind his.

" Sab theek hai na Chottu? Simmi ki reports aa gayi? "He asked Abhay.

" Kuch reports kal hi aayenge. Abhi toh doctor ne kaha ki Simmi theek hai. Bas uski BP levels fluctuate kar raha hai. Isliye use zyaada stress na ho iska khayaal rakhna hai . " Abhay told him and then added " Kabhi kabhi lagta hai accha hota agar main uski life mein hota hi nahin. "

Adarsh put an arm around his shoulder and said " Toh use itna pyaar kaun karta? Aur mera Chottu kiske liye itna pareshan hota? "

Abhay smiled at him and asked him why he had taken so long to come home. He told Abhay everything that had happened.

"Vanshika acchi hai isliye aap zinda ho. Varna aise cases mein pati ki murder kar deti hai wives
. " Abhay said laughing.

Adarsh joined him and the brothers walked in. They saw a suitcase packed and heard their mother taking to someone over the phone.

" Aap toh jaante hain aaj kal ke bacchon ko. Zid kar raha hai Abhay. Kya karoon. Agar force kiya toh kal kahenge parents ki galti hai
. " She was saying.

The brothers looked at each other shocked. Suhasini who had hung up saw them standing at the door.

"Come in guys. Darwaaze par kyun khade ho? " She asked.

" Mom kaun kahaan jaa raha hai ? Aap Kis se baat kar rahi thi? "Abhay asked.

" Calm down DCP saab. Aapki mom do teen dinon ke liye Mumbai jaa rahi hai. Tumhari Naani thodi bimar hai aur mujhse milna chahti hai. " Suhasini said.

"Aur aap baat Kis se kar rahi thi? " Adarsh asked.

Suhasini looked at Abhay sternly and told Adarsh " Jaya ki mom se. Maine Jaya ko bola tha ki woh Khannas ko Abhay ke liye mana karde. Par woh log kaafi interested hai humari family se rishta jodne mein. Isliye Jaya ki mom se unhone dobara hum se baat karne ko kaha. Main bas unhe mana kar rahi thi yeh keh ke ki Abhay abhi shaadi ke liye tayaar nahin hai. "

Abhay seemed relieved and thanked his mom. But before he could say another word his mother interrupted him

"Abhay, maine iss rishte ke liye mana kar diya iska yeh matlab nahin ki main tumhe uss Naveen Ahuja ki beti se shaadi karne doongi. Main bas tumhe time de rahi hoon. Mera decision kabhi nahin badlega. Remember that. " She said .

Abhay tried to say something but Adarsh stopped him. Their mother was in a hurry and this wasn't the time to talk.

After their mother left Adarsh went straight to his room. He lay on the bed thinking. Was he doing the right thing marrying Vanshika? He had lied to her. He hated lies more than anything. Yet today he had lied to the woman who would be his wife in a matter of days. Because he felt she wouldn't understand him. Was this what he wanted? And he remembered Vanshika ' s reaction every time he told her about his work. She saw his work "the helping people thing " as his childishness. She didnt understand that it was his responsibility to the position he held. Would their relationship work? He wished she could be like Swadheenta. Someone who understands him and his principles, who shared his passion for truth, who fought for what is right, who appreciated his work.

Don't be a fool Adarsh, Vanshika is your fiancee. Remember that, he told himself.
