I didnt post yesterday because my thoughts were not coherent. I was not sure whether it was my disappointment of not seeing Yash Bundela ripped up in court or did I miss something about Yash Bundela. His journey. Yes he was grey to me, and I remember Priti defending even when I went beserk on him. Then she was also angry, all of us were angry for what he had one. But as time went by I understood my feelings better because the scene in which he gives the last salute to the flag and burning up did make me shed a tear for him . Hence putting it. I dont know how many will understand it , but Priti atleast I expect you to understand this POV.
To understand Yash Bundela we have to go from beginning. He was a proud young man. And should be. He was the best commando in Military and has won many honors. And mind you to reach that position this young man would have put considerable effort. And then love happened to him. But here is where his mistake was. Maybe his upbringing, the royal family he belonged to and his own over confidence made him take a decision without consulting the other party. I wouldnt say he did something dishonorable but he went with the patriarchal mindset . He made his parents fix up the alliance with his commander's daughter without checking whether she really wanted the marriage. And mind you at this point this young man has no clue radhika loves someone or Asad is in love with Radhika. And even from Radhika POV she didnt know whether Asad loved her at that point as he has not confessed.

If Radhika had confessed her feelings even when Asad wielded the knife the day before her engagement thinks might have been different. But she doesnt . On the day of the engagement Radhika breaks her engagement with Yash publicly. Imagine his hurt pride on top of it a hurt emotions. A fire starts burning in him against the man who has stolen the heart of the woman he loved.
Could Asad have calmed this fire. Yes if he had tried. If he had understood the pain of Yash Bundela. If you see irrespective of the fire Yash doesnt mind Asad being the spy in college. I would say Yash was quite polite also with him. But does Asad reciprocates that politeness. My answer is no. He tries to hurt Yash everytime with his winning of Radhika because Asad himself is insecure of Yash's achievement. Yash and his accomplishments give him an insecurity. Something which his marks and other talents are unable to match. Remember Yash asking him info on terrorists and Asad speaks to him rudely if he has he will tell. Remember a polite Yash asking Radhika why she rejected him. If Radhika had given him explanation I believe the young man would have corrected himself and would have been a better man to get a fine lady in his life. No Asad comes there and gloats what is he doing with his dulhaniya. No one can come between him and his dulhaniya forgetting Radhika was actually Yash's Dulhaniya and it was he who went between them. The fire burns inside Yash, every action of Asad flags that hatred.

And on the night of 1st june yes love for country was there. But somewhere over and above the country the hatred between these 2 came to fore front. End result was prevention of 2 blasts, but happening of 1 blast. Also in that fire Yash Bundela's conscience burned as just like Asad ignored his pain, he decided to ignore the pain of Asad's family sticking to his false testimony. Swa challenged him, told him she will expose him in court. He was confident she couldnt do anything.

But what changed Suha and Radhika. Those scenes were beautiful. Suha telling him she is a mother of a martyr and his mother had also given birth to a soldier. Dont do anything to humilate her. Then comes Radhika who says she will be his wife but asks him to clear the name of the Asad. I would say that was the last nail in the coffin. His realization of the futility of his action. The woman for whom he was waging the so called battle was ready to give him her body if he could restore the honor of the man who resides in her heart. Yash Bundela falls in his eyes. There cannot be worst punishment for him. Worst loss of face. Over hatred, he finally choses love, his duty and burns himself in the fire that he himself has created. One fire takes away his conscience and the other fire when he gives the last salute restores his conscience.

Iftikaar Alam won when Abhay and Asad were in different teams. But when yash bought them together in one team he lost. He lost the battle. He lost the battle to the relations which he has mocked at.

And look at the punishment Yash gave himself. Abhay and Asad their near and dear ones could see their faces for the last time, but he didnt leave anything of himself for one last farewell. He died a terrorist death burning up, but restoring the honor of the one who gave him the ticket to glory.

Hats off to you shruthi...👏
Res( yipppe first one to comment))))

Unrest:
Shruthi didi...u have been always an inspirational writer...whose writing provokes readers inner emotions and motivate reader to admit his/her emotions...Yash bundela...a last salute...what a title dii...👏👏

Even I shed tears after witnessing the punishment he gave to himself...but there won't be any other punishment which can prove himself to be a hero and not a traiter...and apart from all CVS could have given a wrong message to public if Yash was ripped in court...rather than this punishment proves that man only acts according to situations...I guess its only the situations which decides whom we are...Yash has been lways a loyal officer...a sincere officer...as u said Radz negligence and asads show off irked his male ego which resulted the traiter Yash bundela...traitor was formed only due to the circumstance...male ego took charge and the responsibility gave up...Asad was framed...I agree with u 100 percent... Though Yash acted normal...asad has been rude to him...yes due to his own insecurity...but everything happened in a nick of time...its because each other failed to cross dil ki dahleez of others.

If Yash has asked...considered radz opinion or if asad had considered the feeling of being rejected in front of many...this disaster wouldn't have happen...

Yash was confident about himself...he is smart...intelligent...handsome...responsible...educated...he thought he had all the qualities...so that no girl can say no to his proposal...his confident was crushed when rad chose asad...an immature...badtameez...not-so-educated-ashimself over HIM...OVER YASH BUNDELA...and then his Ego...Male ego was smashed when rad public ally announced her break up...I think rad should have asked forgiveness but she didn't...

Even Adarsh should have apologised to Chipkali...I still have that as a minus to Adarsh...what ever the situation is BUNDEL PARIVAR GOT HUMILATED INFRONT MANY...the pain of being isolated is something that cant be described...

Betrayel of rad...made Yash a betrayer to his country...nope he isn't a betrayer...he located bombs...remember when defusing bombs...what was his wish...ONLY TO GET HIS LADY LOVE...he loved her dearly...she broken his heart...unknowingly...bcoz she is a child to be grown...he just betrayed to the truth...he just betrayed to asad...who made him clown among thousands...

When his self realization strikes...he feels pity for himself...A PROUD SON OF NATION CANT BE A TRAITOR...rather than he can be a MARTYR...bcoz he has already fallen low in the eyes of his lady love...rather than living in guilt...he breaks the illusion created by him...he gives peace to his soul...by releasing the inner soul out...

Well done CVS .,..a good moral to be learned...whenever we do a thing we should think of the effects it makes on others...as bottled emotions can blast...it blasted and a big disaster happened in Yash bundelas case...

Now he died...honourably...as a TRUE SON FOR HIS NATION...he punishes himself and got the terrorist...the real one punished too.Even at his death his loyalty toward his duty is shown...he was just traumatized...in between revenge...hatred...anguish...he was bowled by emotions...

I was crying when his video message was played...a big salute to him...and thank u CVS for giving such a wonderful closure to Yash ki character...if he was ripped in court...the real services done by army officers would have gone in vain too...their service might have been neglected tooo...Yash budela saved his system unlike mano who covered the system

(P.s :- most of the time I write short comments...bcoz i am too lazy to type big on my phone...today Shruthi di ur post motivated me...it gave me a push to voice my emo out pulling my laziness away))

I also feel writers have given a perfect end to yash's character. He was never a traitor.. he loved his country n saved two bomb blasts..he even decoded the secret messages from arvind's laptop. He always told asad that country is more important for him.. but in no time his hatred for asad overshadowed his love for his country. If this ended with his court marshell then it would have sent a wrong message. Atlast yash won over his hatred and freed hilmself from the guilt of setting a dangerous terrorist like arvind free.

I will be honest Shruthi. I like this idea of yours of waiting till your mind is sorted before you post your analysis. I always react on impulses and post my thoughts, but more often then not, by the following morning, my thoughts are different.

I understand everything that you have said. I understand your POV. He was a proud army person, and his end was befitting to his character in that sense. But I am not sure I grant him the title of a martyr.

Last night my feelings about this were all over the place too. I felt bad for Yash. I was upset that he had killed himself. And the way he died was painful. You could see his regret at his actions, you could see his guilt, you could see his determination to end it all, at any cost. But I was a little "not-on-board" with his death being tagged that of a martyr. I thought it was more of him paying his dues.

The problem I have had these last couple of days is the easy way that everyone is having a change of heart. Like I said yesterday, everyone has a choice to make when they are faced with a moral conflict. If you knowingly choose the wrong path, you will have guilt., you will have anxiousness, you will have shame. But what does that mean? It means nothing unless you correct your actions. And you correct your actions by un-doing what you have done, or trying your best to undo and set right what ever you messed up. Making sure that the lives of the people that you messed up becomes better in some way.

For example, today, the minister has a change of heart and feels bad for everything he has done. He says, I am really sorry I messed up. I think this is the best way for me to pay and kills himself. What does that do? Should he be forgiven? Should he be liked because he accepted his fault? I am not so sure I agree.

I realize that the makers of the show wanted to give it a happy and positive ending. Putting everyone behind bars may not have been their idea of a happy ending. But happiness does not necessarily mean this either. If they had shown some kind of punishment for Jai, Manohar, Yash, that could have been a happy ending too. Don't put them behind bars, but do something else. As per law, ensure they do community service, cut their pay into 1/2, something. However small it is. And on moral grounds, at-least leave the story in a place where it is possible to imagine that they are walking the path of redemption.

This overnight change for me was a little difficult to digest to be honest.

Coming to Yash. Like I said, I felt bad for his death. In his last minute, he tried to perform his duty to protect his country. He said as much to Swadheenta. That he could not let a terrorist walk away, and he would not do it. But that was part of his job. Could he have done anything else to have Ifthikaar arrested? Yes. He had him caught, the remote from Ifthikaar's hand had been dropped. he could have easily had him arrested, and he could have worked the rest of his life trying to make it up with Swadheenta, Jilani's, Radhika for the mistake he committed in his jealousy. By killing himself, he chose the easy way. he knew that the walk of redemption would be a hard one, and he chose the easier way of dying.

So, to summarize
1. Yash did a good thing by not letting Ifthikaar go, even if it meant killing himself. But that was not the only way he could have resolved the situation. He chose the easy way. While I appreciate the fact that he tried to do the right thing in the end, I don't think he died the death of a martyr. He committed suicide.
2. Manohar's turn-around is the most disappointing for me. I cannot even understand it.
3. Jai has disappointed me a lot.
4. My respect for Suhasini has grown so much in the last few episodes. I simply love this woman.
5. Swadheenta, hats off. Salute, Respect
6. Adarsh, he did stand by her towards the end. He was human, he accepted his follies. Respect for him too. And of-course lots of love.
7. Relieved for Haider maamu and Zubaida maami
8. Loved Simmi
9 Missed Abhay, Asad and Ahuja

Yash dying like this was sad. I totally agree. Within 10 sec we went from feeling hatred to pity the character. That was quick. The writers didn't want to punish the character nor wanted us to hate him. He sacrificed his life for his country and wanted to rectify all the mistakes he did. But did he really ? He was an insult for the army. He let his personal life come between his professional life. It was his mistake. He recorded a video and saved Asad and Maamu that was a good thing. But the world needed to know what he did. How he took advantage of his position and insulted the army. How he was a wrong person to be in the army. He should have confessed in the video that he lied because he lost his mind for some time but he wanted to rectify his mistakes. I would have saluted him and respected him. But by giving just a statement that Asad and Maamu are innocent doesn't prove his mistakes. And that I can't accept and feel for the character. 😕

along with show i am gonna miss your brilliant analysis too shruti.
tbh i don't know how to judge yash's character as i really hated him for all the lies that he had spoken in court of law but if we see his pov we will realise that in a moment of anger , jealousy & madness he had indeed committed a mistake but have to say that makers have really tried their best to redeem him. so tbh even though i wanted to see swa ripping him apart in court but this i felt has been a better end to his character then the court martial as in the end he had realised his mistake & wanted to rectify it & he did it by giving off his life in the end.

Yash Bundela undergoes a 360 degree change either it is Sasumma trying to awaken a sleeping conscience that led to this confession of sorts...or Radhika trying to enter a DEAL...absolve Asad and I am yours or the words of Swadeentha.
We see Yash referring to Swa as Freedom several times in the confession...He maybe has found in her persistence a liberation too. The way he framed Mammu and Asad by planting evidence was in my view an absolute misuse of power and trust. He definitely would have been court Marshalled and he chose the easy way out...awakened the soldier in him and bid a farewell to the world.
Asad and Radhika immature that they are flaunt their attraction denting the pride of the man in love. His parents state how he had won their consent by his ZIDD. Obviously he was used to having his way. Even in the end he has had his way as definitely had he been alive the law of the land would have pursued him.
He tells Adarsh and Swa they were selfish in hoping to get Arvind alive. His mind though is hatching the last of his plots.
He has lost his love...credibility...trust and honour as a soldier. He was responsible for the living death of several people for a month. Finally his conscienceled to the confession.

I agree to whayever u said shru n it was as usual a beautiful analysis 😳
Asad was provoked by yash so he reacted that way... I mean y its always yash who interferred with asad n rads... He need not have to poke his nose 🥱... Moreover when all damage has done , he is repenting now ??? I mean what if haider was killed by police in the name of interrogation? His one lie changed the life of swa! Can he give back those days to swa in which she was treated badly by the nation n her in laws??? Can he give back the lost respect of jilanis 🥱... I maybe wrong but i expected swa to rip him apart in court rather than the death of martyr😊😲😡
