PROLOGUE
"Swadheenta!" I hear Shalini shout. I turn around to see her standing there, all clad in a beautiful wedding gown, smiling at me. "You're here."
"I am." I go forward and hug her.
"How do I look?"
"Like the epitome of beauty." I grin as she blushes.
"Thank you." She says.
"Where's that person you wanted me to meet? Setting me up, seriously? Shalini, this is not high school. I just.." She suddenly turns me around and makes me face him. That guy. Whom I never thought would even exist in my life more than the duration of the wedding ceremony. But something about him caught me. He wasn't like other boys. He was different.
He was special.
And maybe that's why now I'm the one getting married. To him.
