Had it been 2pm, more would’ve died': What happened inside doctors' quarters when Air India plane crashed; survivors recall lunch hour horror
I feel these news channels want trps.
It's not good to blame pilots all the time by some ppl who do not know what happened. Pilots also have families . This pilot was 54 years. Must have been very experienced.
In most of the previous accidents they have blamed the pilots only.
Pilots are also overworked. Their schedules have to be arranged properly so that they get rest.
The news agencies get various ppl and ask them to comment by looking at a video that is so far away.
The eye witness who was the survivor told that he heard a huge sound just a few seconds after take off. So must be some issues with the engine. This aspect also should be taken into account while analysing and not just say copilot operated the wrong gear.
It could have been a ground staff s mistake also. Recently they changed some foreign housekeeping and maintenance agency n all airports.
as per the rumors the plane had faulty equipments and many complaints were lodged against it in different countries. going by the rumors, authorities who allowed that plane to fly are at fault here.

This is really breaking my heart....Such a lovely family ....All.gone in seconds.....
Reading such positive stories will give us some peace of mind..
Prayers to the departed souls 🙏 may their families find peace .
All said & done , the Boeing won't publicly accept their fault if any . Tata won't risk their entire fleet , brand name if it was their fault .
I just hope in future Boeing takes notice & correct the malfunctions if any ..
I just read that there may have been fault with the auto retraction system due to which flaps mightve opened n aircraft lost thrust ..could be one of the several reasons the plane crashed within seconds
hopefully, air india & all other airlines are more vigilant in the safety checks from now on if the fault lies there ..I read that theyve given orders for their new fleet but it's getting delayed bec demand exceeds the supply ..
hope & pray that in future there aren't any such accidents..
Until we refuse to accept this submissively, instead of ‘hoping’ safety we started ‘demanding’ for it, nothing’s gonna change for sure. Dont care what Tata or US Boeing does, why dont we have any Govt. regulations here at home to ensure safety ? Since when the safety of countrymen is handed over to multibillionaire companies ?
Yes true. Hoping is not enough now. We should start asking for our safety. It is not right that big companies decide this. Our government should make strong rules. People deserve to feel safe. Safety is not something we should beg for. It is a basic need for everyoneOriginally posted by: prerna4rishav

Had so much of mad respect for Tatas..but this Air India compensation gesture by them is bare minimum .. they have to give 1.5-1.8cr to every deceased member's family as per law but Tatas have agreed only upon 1cr now..
if u ask will money compensate for loses then no, but a certain penalty or loss should be slapped on these institutions that doesn't take people safety seriously..
Tatas talk big about values but failed when it truly mattered. They’re saving money instead of saving their image.Respect is earned and not bought with cheap compensationOriginally posted by: Swathi_7

True..Their reputation is gone now..they always speak of values and stuff and this is not what i expected them to be..
i wish to see how would have Ratan ji reacted if he was alive now..he firmly stood by forces when 26/11 happened ..this is one of the biggest tragedies in aviation industry history ..i dont have any expectations that they will be sued in India ..i wish they are sued left, right and centre in london atleast..
