The prelim report is absolutely chilling. We don’t know for sure anything yet but the possibilities and speculations are stunning. Undeniably a bad turn for the Indian aviation and aviation sector of the world.
The report, which was made public over the weekend, said that the cockpit levers responsible for regulating the fuel supply to the aircraft’s motors were switched to the ‘cut off’ position mere seconds after takeoff, resulting in the cessation of fuel flow to both engines.
According to the report, one of the pilots can be heard within the cockpit voice recording, inquiring about the reason for the fuel switch being turned off. “The other pilot replied that he had not done so,” the report says, adding that mere seconds after this exchange, the aircraft began to lose altitude.
ABSOLUTE BULL SHIT
The report says the switches were turned off one after the other.
1. How come there were no indicators or sound or alarm that went off, when it was being turned off.
How can someone just turn it off silently without the other pilot noticing it?
There should be some warning signal that will go off.
As per the cockpit discussion, the 2nd pilot knew only when the other asked this question.
2. If the intention was to cause an accident the pilot could have turned off the fuel switch over Arabian sea or the ocean (on the way to London) also like the Malaysian airlines MH 370 , so that noone finds the black box from the ocean.
He had 9 hours to do it.
Why should he do it on the land near the airport where all evidences can be found and so his family will be blamed and help can reach within a few minutes.
I still don't believe pilots have done it.
Some internal failure must have caused it which they don't want to disclose.
.
Now the worry is more pilots will get this idea if they have any bad intentions.
