Let those news agencies and indices say what they want.

There r so many Indians today who had to move to different countries recently and find India much better..and don't plan to stay back once the project is done

Once again Palestine and Hamas are not the same entity. Stop treating them as such.

Actually, Hamas' roots are in the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and it is supported by a robust sociopolitical structure inside the Palestinian territories.

They also won 2006 legislative elections in the Palestinian territories. Elections have consequences!

According to the Washington Institute polling conducted in July 2023, 57% of Gazans expressed at least a somewhat positive opinion of Hamas—along with similar percentages of Palestinians in the West Bank (52%) and East Jerusalem (64%).

Not all Gazans are as innocent as they claim or would want the world to believe. Terrorists, whether from Pakistan or from Palestine, don't become so powerful as to the ability to wage proxy wars year after year unless they have state sponsorship behind it.

Most Jews don't support the genocide of Palestinians. It is AIPAC the lobby for Israel and another fascist leader Benjamin Netanyahu!

Polls say otherwise. The reason Palestinian elections are getting postponed is because the Fatah movement led by the guy you quoted above is fragmented and is facing a certain defeat by Hamas; some polls are actually predicting a landslide victory for Hamas so much so that there was regional interventionism from the heads of the Egyptian and Jordanian intelligence services begging Abbas to postpone the elections. Sorry to say, Hamas is well liked within Palestine.

Yup your the one bidding audios to the debate and I can't counter logic because you say so. The point is people do not always elect the right people. India is dropping in democracy rankings, press freedom, and has a lot more human rights abuses to its credit. I know you have a hard time dealing with that. And any academia or outlets that call them out are evil. Of course, I am going to be logicless in your book. And of course, you could not help get personal in the debate and had to go to my maturity level.

Who is to blame?

Do tell how it is due to Modi with real proofs and not what your media tells.

It is a long list .. Coming back with more

  • Meanwhile, a 2019 report [PDF] by India-based nongovernmental organization Common Cause found that half of police surveyed showed anti-Muslim bias, making them less likely to intervene to stop crimes against Muslims. Analysts have also noted widespread impunity for those who attack Muslims. In recent years, courts and government bodies have sometimes overturned convictions or withdrawn cases that accused Hindus of involvement in violence against Muslims. States have increasingly passed laws restricting Muslims’ religious freedoms, including anti-conversion laws and bans on wearing headscarves in school.
  • In 2022, authorities in several states destroyed people’s homes, alleging that the demolished buildings lacked proper permits. However, critics said they primarily targeted Muslims, some of whom had recently participated in protests. In response, India’s Supreme Court said that demolitions “cannot be retaliatory,” though the practice has continued.
  • In December 2019, the parliament passed and Modi signed the Citizenship Amendment Act, which allows for the fast-tracking of citizenship for Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi, and Christian migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Critics say the law is discriminatory because it excludes Muslims and applies a religious criteria for the first time to the question of citizenship.
  • This is a gross violation of the universal principle of freedom of speech and expression. The country is restricting free press, and the government is actively suppressing journalists. Media and press freedom in India has been threatened under Congress and the leading opposition party previously in power. However, the BJP, the current ruling party, has taken it to another level: persecution of journalists, banning apps and websites and shutting down any opposition.
  • Rahul Gandhi, India’s main opposition leader, was convicted of defamation, for, several years ago, likening Narendra Modi, the country’s Prime Minister, to a thief. Days after the verdict, Gandhi was disqualified from serving in the lower house of Parliament, which is controlled by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. The trial took place in Modi’s home state of Gujarat; the sentence—two years—is the exact length necessary to deem a member of Parliament unfit to serve.
  • the historically repressed Muslim-majority state of Kashmir has faced even harsher crackdowns.

I am to blame on someone questioning my maturity level based on my political views?

1. We can go on and on about the freedom of the press decline and the jailing of journalists. But there has also been consolidation of media ownership in the hands of ultra-rich moguls friendly to Modi and the BJP like Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani

2. One set of tactics has been outright intimidation and abuse of legal powers. India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the country’s FBI equivalent, has a longstanding problem of being unduly influenced by political considerations — a problem that has gotten far worse since 2014. Under the prior Congress government, 60 percent of CBI investigations into politicians targeted opposition leaders. Under Modi, that figure has jumped to 95 percent.

3. Another tactic has been the manipulation of appointment powers. Modi has seized control over the judicial “collegium” system of appointments, simply refusing to appoint judges he doesn’t approve of. Similarly, Modi has refused to appoint commissioners to the Central Information Commission, which handles freedom of information requests from the public, grinding its work to a halt.
