DOTW----How important is Shoaib for pak!

Hello Everyone!

Yes, we are back with another DOTW.. This weeks discussion is that How important is Fast bowler shoaib for pakistani team or IPL?.Will Pak team lack in bowling department without his presence ? What do you think about his 18 months ban?Your agrument can be for and against him.

I must confess that i got this title and discusion from a website.. I would really lyke to see everyone getting involved into this DOTW.. Tell us your views...

I have always maintained that Shoaib is one of the key players for the Pakistan team and the Kolkata Knight Riders.
I am not saying that without him, his team has no chance of winning. Shoaib's presence just makes the game of cricket so exciting! He is just trouble for the opponent team! 😆 He is a gem for his team!

I think the 18 months ban is too harsh. The court has first of all not found him guilty of consuming drugs, then how can the PCB just put a ban on him without solid evidence? 😕 I am not sure abt this issue so I cannot comment much. But all I can say is that because of all the controversies Shoaib gets into, his cricket career is getting adversely affected. He is a great player. Show him some respect!

i totally agree with u shruthi.. but we cannot ignore his drug cases or his lack of professionalism.He is a mystery man.. he gets involved in some case but when u watch his interview u will find him a different person from what we read in press. But yes i agree with u that 18 month ban is a bit too harsh on him..Because his retirment age is coming near and his talent is yet more to see..

"one can't be saint". as well i can't name a team who do not have a person like SA in them accord to his behaviour...but in talent he is mis-matched....
banning him is not so nice example........how many u will ban 4 their behaviour at pitch..

i agree with u yar...but 18 months is better den 5 year ban...i have to tell u dat i like him very much..his presence in d team makes the opposition team think..but yar things he do..every now and den..its just ridiculous yar..more over the things dat he does affects the moral of the team when the team is on a high..so i think its an OK decision on him..what say fiza??
