Finally a bit of momentum for MI after a middling powerplay. NSB, as she has done all season, is batting like a dream, and MI will hope that rubs off on Matthews, who has struggled so far. GG did a good containing job early but will be mindful of the damage this pair can cause, and will need wickets to keep the run-flow in check

7.3

Priya Mishra to Matthews, FOUR, three in a row! Mishra offers a juicy full toss this time, and Matthews isn't going to miss out. She gets low and sweeps it past short fine leg. Horror start from the leggie

7.2

Priya Mishra to Matthews, FOUR, short again and four again! This time the line is outside off and Matthews cuts it away through point

7.1

Priya Mishra to Matthews, FOUR, oh a half-tracker from Mishra to begin with and it's been punished! Dragged down short on leg, Matthews rocks back and pulls hard to the midwicket boundary

Meghna Singh, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack

8.2

Meghna Singh to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, oh dear! Should've been a couple of runs at most, but Shaikh fumbles and gives away a boundary. Good length just outside off, driven crisply through extra cover by Sciver-Brunt. Shaikh gets across comfortably but fails to cut it off

Ashleigh Gardner [1.0-0-4-0] is back into the attack

9.3

Gardner to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, Sciver-Brunt looks in ominous touch! Tossed up around off and middle, she goes reverse and paddles it fine past the keeper

9.5

Gardner to Matthews, FOUR, another sloppy effort in the field! Good length ball just outside off, Matthews goes back and cuts hard. Was straight to Kashvee at backward point but she's slow to bend and it sneaks through
