Bangladesh came into this World Cup with two of their senior players - Shakib and Tamim - clashing off the field due to selection differences but the victory against Afghanistan has silenced everything. Most of the players had a role in the win but the star performer was Mehidy Hasan Miraz. The all rounder is slowly coming out of Shakib's shadow and turning into one of the key players. He picked up a 3-fer and followed it up with a 50+ score. Is this tournament going to see the baton being passed on from Shakib to Mehidy? Bangladesh fans will certainly hope so..

Here's an early update from the ground by Prakash Govindasreenivasan - "It's a sunny morning but there was rain last night, which couldn't have been good for the outfield that has been under the scanner since the last game here on Saturday. Jos Buttler was the latest to slam it yesterday, calling it 'poor'. He's not happy to be in a situation where players have to hold themselves back when it comes to putting in dives in the deep."

"England will mostly be without Stokes again. He batted in the nets last two days but only took throwdowns and faced a couple of local spinners. And didn't seem to be moving too well on both days. Buttler said it is 'probably unlikely' he plays this game," Prakash updates on England. "Bangladesh meanwhile, could consider a third spinner in place of Mahmudullah, probably Nasum Ahmed, if the track is slow again like the other day when they played Afghanistan. Today's game will be played on a different pitch though," he adds about Bangladesh.

Mahmud: "Hello Ashish. I heard there was a substantial amount of rain last night. What's the weather like today? Is there a possibility of more rain? And how's the condition of the pitch?" There was quite a storm in Dharamsala last night. Matt Roller, our eyes and ears at the ground, however, says that there is bright sunshine this morning so we should be good to get a full game going our way.

ICYMI Ben Stokes is highly unlikely to play this game as he continues to recover from a sore hip. He has batted in the nets twice since England arrived in Dharamsala, moving much more freely when he faced spinners on Monday morning than he did when batting against sidearm throws on Sunday afternoon.

Neal: "Reece Topley should play today, England's bowling lacked penetration against NZ. "

Pitch and Conditions: "As far as backdrops in the world cricket, Dharamsala is got to be one of the best. The snow is on the tips and is beautiful to look at maybe Cape Town and Queenstown could compete. As far as the ground goes we will go to the outfield, it is challenging for the fielders if they dive or slide, bowling wise you might scruff things up as you run in but it is given the go ahead by the match referee. The ground dimensions - 61 one way and 66 is the other, the altitude will make the ball fly," starts Shaun Pollock. "If you look at the color of the pitch it is light brown because there has been a lot of rain, yesterday there was 7mm grass and they have brought it down to 3mm, the fast bowlers will not be excited. It is going to be slow in nature and run scoring will be difficult," concludes Dinesh Karthik.
