We're into the final round of matches in the Super 12s with all four semifinal spots still up for grabs. New Zealand can become the first team to seal their progress if they beat Ireland in today's first encounter, taking place at the Adelaide Oval.

A win for both will leave the defending champions with a big NRR deficit to overcome without the benefit of knowing exactly what to do as England play the last game in this Group. New Zealand will start favourites today and there's a lot they have done right in this tournament. The bowling has been brilliant for the most part, and the likes of Finn Allen and Glenn Phillips have fired at different points to take charge of the batting.

There's enough firepower for the death overs in the likes of Neesham and Mitchell as well. But one thing they'll be concerned about is the form of Kane Williamson, who's had teammates jumping to his defence after the loss against England.

The New Zealand captain just hasn't got going at number three, scoring at a strike-rate of less than 100 in this World Cup. Will today be the day he fires?

Hardly any swing on that last delivery which was pitched right up, and so the slip has been taken out already

Mark Adair to Conway, leg byes, FOUR, that's a dreadful delivery to start from Adair. He was very expensive in the game against Australia and hasn't started well here. This is full down the leg-side, Conway fails to get bat on it but it runs away to the boundary off his pad.
