New Update(Page 2): IPL Will Be Held From 19th Sep Onwards

Hey all!😊

Hope everyone's healthy and safe.

I'm new to the sports forum and the activity of members seems to be very low. Donno how much discussion I can expect😅

Anyway, coming back to the update I wanted to deliver to all avid fans of cricket. The ICC T20 World Cup which was to be held this year has been postponed for the next year, 2021, during October- November. Here goes the link confirming the same👇

Interestingly, although this World Cup was eagerly awaited (like any other WC lol) has been postponed, this opens up the chances of IPL 2020 to be held! The board will hold a meeting on Friday to decide upon the schedules, venue, etc. and we'll prolly get a positive response!

Looking forward to this IPL (with a lot of adjustments and format changes lol)

Okay, this was more of a serious post just giving the information😆. But looking forward to seeing more members and opening up my funnier side while discussing stuff😆

Ohh yes! Although it's not an exciting news of the T20 World Cup being postponed, as the Indian team certainly was a potential winner... I'm glad IPL 2020 isn't cancelled on the whole

@bold- Totally👍🏼 Under Virat, we've become the 'chokers' I was hoping that he'll be able to successfully come out of that streak😆

Nonetheless, he has an opportunity to bring RCB to the forefront (I highly doubt that'll happen lol).

But the main attraction for me will be- MSD playing his supposedly last IPL😭. Very eager to see him lift the trophy yet again with the yellow brigade💛💛💛

We certainly aren't chokers under Virat! It's the collective effort of the team which matters and during testing times, they under-perform... How's that because of VK?🙁

I have literally forgotten the new squad of the teams But I guess, RCB managed to grab big and will do well this time😃

I like CSK, but I am not a supporter 😤. My first choices are RCB and DC (youngsters rule😎).

See, the captain will have to face the blame/wrath. VK being the skipper, he has to hold the collective responsibility of the team. There's no leeway here. And you can't deny that although he's a brilliant player in the bilateral series/matches, during tournaments like WC, he hasn't got those records. So yeah, that itself speaks a lot.

That's exactly the problem with RCB😆 They only look to grab "big" players. They have a star studded squad but lack of typical Indian players who can win you matches. They've gotten terrible planning of their playing eleven

I like DC too😃. But they aren't the winning material I feel. Lack of experience maybe¯\_(ツ)_/¯

RCB has my support But not against CSK🤣

The big guys are a treat to watch but they can't successfully plan and win games, and I can't love such a team with bad execution
