2020
A wildly teetering match made IPL history, culminating in two Super Overs. With two required off the final ball, it looked like Kings XI had made it in their chase of 177 against Mumbai Indians, but Chris Jordan wheeled in a giant circle for the second run, effectively doubling the distance he needed to cover, and was run-out. Jasprit Bumrah kept it tight for MI in the first Super Over, conceding just five, but Kings XI's Mohammed Shami sent down yorker after accurate yorker to push it into a second Super Over, where Kieron Pollard set KXIP a target of 12. A swaggering Chris Gayle, playing only his second IPL match of the season, deposited Trent Boult for six in the stands first ball, then Mayank Agarwal muscled two fours to finally definitively win it for KXIP.
