Kapil Sharma back as CCL host

We were the first to report about Kapil Sharmawalking out of CCL 4 on the inaugural day in Mumbai owing to creative and logistical issues. This move had left the organisers fuming. However, the two parties have now called a truce and moved on.

Vishnu Induri (Founder, MD, CCL) told us, "Kapil has been working with us for the past three years. Whatever happened that day, shouldn't have happened. We should have spoken to each other on that day itself. It was a live event, he was uncomfortable with certain things, and he shouldn't have overreacted. But, overreaction was from both ends. I guess it all happened in the heat of the moment. We have mutual respect for each other. He is like a family member and we are happy he's back. As far as the remuneration is concerned, money is a small issue."
