There's no logic in Barbosa killing himself. Why'd he do that? And if he survives , so can ACP Pradyumn.

I'd rather he comes back beating death one more time than have a younger ACP ruling over Daya Abhijeet.

And if Shivaji Sir indeed quit the show , it should be a dignified retirement as that's the only graceful ending of such an iconic character. Abhijeet should absolutely be the next ACP , as he's the natural successor and he's as good as capable as ACP Pradyumn.

Barbosa wouldn't want to die. So maybe both of them escaped before the bomb blast happened in the bureau.

Also, does anyone remember? That in the last season Barbosa had many doppelgangers. So probably this wasn't the real Barbosa 🤔🤔

For all the hype this was a pretty average episode. CID writers haven’t moved on from the old days at all.

if a city is under threat a lot more than just 6 cid officers would be involved. This would involve ministry, army, etc similar to the 24 web series.

the microzoom into the eyes was ridiculous. Also detonating a bomb over a call is so damn stupid.

A better director should have been required to handle such a show and they should realise this is 2025 not 2015 where such things would work in the absence of Netflix and prime documentaries.

I believe this is a marketing gimmick as well. They want us to believe that it's over and acp pradyuman is dead but as we have already said, he is gonna survive! They are just trying to bring in the shock factor by pulling off these stunts.

This is possible. I mean 10 years ago when they pulled this type of stunt with CID Grahan, an article saying Satam sir is quitting was enough. It did send fans into a frenzy. But since then SM has become even bigger and with all these spoiler sites like GossipTV the marketing stunt has to be wider and larger. Everyone has to be posting the same thing and by Satam sir saying that he's just not being called for shooting can add ghee to the fire cause now it seems like the channel, producers, and actor aren't on the same page.

Now while I say it's possible, I have a feeling that this may be the real deal or at least a move by the producers that they didn't expect would backfire so badly. They're being bombarded from all sides. Parth fans are happy he's back, but OG CID fans aren't happy at all with what's going on. So they're probably just fanning the fire for now while they figure out what to do.

I watched the epi and honestly from a logic stand it was lacking. But from an action and Barbossa return aspect it was awesome. Tigmanshu Dhulia has got this screen presence that even without saying anything, he can say so much. His entry with the eggs and then jumping over bodies as he makes his way forward and then that face-off with ACP Pradyuman - 110% awesome. After Rahil Azam as Nakul if there's one "villain" I've loved in CID so far it's Tigmanshu Dhulia. Rahul Dev comes a close third but his character was phush by the end and Mahesh Manjrekar ki baat naa hi karen toh better hai. I suddenly feel this urge to write a story with Barbossa and Nakul - similar to my Nakul Returns series, except here Nakul and Barbossa will get away.

But I now have some thoughts on this whole ACP Pradyuman dying and a new ACP coming in. BULLSHIT! That's what my thoughts are. No way did Barbossa decide to die to take ACP Pradyuman down with him. And he wouldn't go through all that trouble to just kill ACP Pradyuman in a blast either. There's definitely something more at play here and this whole Satam sir quitting and a new ACP coming in is seeming very similar to the whole Trail in London and Grahan series.

I do think Sachin is dead though. First off he was shot at very close range. And then the blast. Unless ACP Pradyuman brokered a deal to get Sachin out as well, I don't think he's alive, which is sad cause even though he wasn't my favourite cop, I did like him.

Watched the night episode in TV after a long time. I'm 99% sure that ACP Pradhyuman is not dead.

But poor Inspector Sachin. May his Soul rest in peace.

The Episode was similar to the climax of Movie SURYAVANSHI.

Only his fans are happy and leave OG cid fans but if today and random person sees episode for the first time they will say same thing that he is not suitable for the role majorly to be daya Abhijeet senior

Also , ACP Pradyumn better be okay . Without him, CID has no meaning. He's the face of CID . He's the beating heart of CID. It'd be totally pointless to continue CID without him. Both for the makers as well for the viewers.

They should've brought such a high voltage track after IPL ended. It deserves accolade , hype all over . Amazing acting by the villain and the cast of CID ofcourse.

Well I too hope that nothing happened to Sachin... But the guy was shot at such a close range. Though I should say thankfully Barbosa didn't shoot him right at his heart (I believe)? Plus there was that huge ass bomb explosion. His chances of survival are close to negative...

Next, yes CID has no meaning without ACP Pradyuman... For us fans, the trio is synonymous to CID, not some random Tom, Dick or Harry.

And last but not the least, yes this high voltage track should have been brought after IPL. Right now, majority of the fans are watching IPL. They rarely change channels...

Tigmanshu Dhulia was absolutely freaking amazing as the crazy AF Barboza. His acting was so damn good. The rest of the cast too...they were exceptional with their acting skills. Absolutely fantastic acting.
