Hmmm... I wasn't paying careful attention towards the end as I was typing a reply here. But at the end ACP asked Barboza to let Avni and Dr. Salunkhe leave. Avni was shot in the arm and Salunkhe was wearing a bomb jacket. The two of them went out. Daya, Abhijeet and the rest wanted to enter but Salunkhe informed them that a sniper was positioned on the rooftop so they couldn't leave.

Barboza had planted bombs all around the bureau building. So, once Salunkhe and Avni were out, he exploded all those bombs and the building was blown to smithereens. All of them outside were hit by the waves and hence they all fell on the ground.

It's not about falling for it. Most of us here know it's fake. We're pissed off with the way they are treating this and with the callous treatment. They literally made it sound like this was the end of ACP Pradyuman and with the whole farewell posts and all. The treatment is exactly what's pissing people off. The OG fans especially know it's fake. Those who watch CID on and off might be falling for it, but yesterday's episode should have cleared the air.

The second thing that is angering people is who they've brought in as a "replacement". Parth as ACP? Yeh kahan se ACP lagta hai?!!

Honestly, casting Parth as the new ACP has to be one of the worst decisions they’ve made. OG fans are not going to be okay with a 34-year-old guy giving orders to the legendary duo of Abhijeet and Daya and watching them call him "sir"? That just feels wrong on so many levels. It’s not just disrespectful to the characters, but also to the actors who’ve carried the show for years. A lot of fans might get seriously turned off because of this and stop watching the show altogether. It just doesn’t sit right, especially for those of us who’ve grown up watching and respecting these characters.

Agreed. I don't mind the age difference. A lot of younger people are bosses to older people in the real world. The bigger issue is who they cast. Rajeev and Eijaz are both younger and outsiders. The expectation even then was that Abhijeet or Daya would become team leads. But the 2 of them looked the part and so it worked out. Parth doesn't look the part in any way. I don't care how they costume him or what look they give him. He doesn't look the part. They literally cast him for the fan following. His fans are happy while OG CID fans are pissed off.

True. Rajeev Khandelwal had the aura. Parth doesn't have that senior detective aura

That's the whole point most of us have grown up watching cid imagine despite of running for so many years they have the same fan base how do they expect people will welcome him i mean this trio is foundation of the show you killed off one character that too so ridiculously (i know he will return) other two who have given their blood and soul to the show both character and actors you are actually bringing some one to boss over them that too in position of ACP sir I mean to be honest this is whole turn off altogether. Even if they had to bring atleast they could have got who can match daya abhi aura he is actually looking like kid in front of them and genuinely its not about age the other day someone was saying parth had played manik who was his gang ka leader ek baat bolue leading a friend circle or college band and leading an investigation team is a whole lot of different thing

That's why no one saw anyone doing it. She's the aunt of the child, if she handles the bag no one will think anything of it.

This is exactly what I thought....because how will someone come in that kids school and put it in his bag without anyone coming to know.....

Exactly 💯. It's something to do with her sister's sudden absence.

I'm sure she made it so that ACP couldn't get out of the building in exchange for her safety .
