CID Episode 17 - Flat No 403 - 15th February - Page 2

Am I the only one who feels that Pankaj's comedy seems forced? Most of the time, I struggle to find any humor in it—it doesn’t feel funny but rather irritating. It seems like the makers are trying to fill the void left by Freddy Sir by using Pankaj, but in my opinion, it’s just not working. No offense to anyone!

Anyways, I loved the episode overall! It was a good improvement over the previous week's episodes. Even the actor playing Vikrant did a good job!

Overall a good episode. Much better than last week, but so predictable. Oh so predictable! Still enjoyed it a lot even though I kind of solved it way early. Maybe I'm just getting too good at this crime solving or the new PH is now adapting in an attempt to get TRP back up.

Precap - Meh. Again. CID officer being blamed for murder. We'll have the same cock-and-bull running around, ACP sir not believing the officer on face but defending him behind his back, an annoying DCP trying to get the officer out of CID, some heroics from the other officers, and then a last minute confession from the real culprit.

I had liked it...bas backstory build ki hoti toh would've made more sense...because woh makrand Kaun hein ...achanak purvi ka hath kaise fracture hua iski bohot Kam story thi

Is it just me or actually the makers making Daya the centre of attraction??

I mean almost half of the episodes were Daya centered... the jungle wala episode...fir boxing wala...then tomorrow's episode....first episode was also Abhijeet and Daya related jaha Daya ko Mahan dikhaya

Where is the other new officer...sirf first episode mein kyu dikha?

I've also noticed that most episodes these days are all about Daya, like the makers are trying to make him the only hero of the show. This has been going on even before CID 2 launched—Daya got a solo promo and even a song in his name, while ACP sir got just a solo promo, and Abhijeet got nothing. Even in the CID 2 montage, Daya is right in the center, making it pretty obvious who they’re focusing on.

I think it's because of Daya present in Singham Again...that increased Daya's popularity and I am sure if there are any new viewers it's all because of Daya

No it's not just you... They are actually making Daya the centre of attraction for the show. I didn't mean to sound rude so I didn't point it out but since you brought it up, I can't help but talk about it with everyone here.

They've given us several episodes where Daya was the focal point. Jungle waala episode toh was literally a one man show for Daya. Boxing episode too had him in focus.

The show's USP was the main trio plus the forensic team supported by the rest of the team. Here, they've even reduced Purvi's screentime. Unlike last season where the cast used to be balanced in teamwork, it's been somewhat missing here.

This could be it. Of the trio Daya is probably best known by the current gen. Our gen who watched the first season of CID know and love the trio equally, but for most of the new gen, they don't recognize Satam sir or Aditya sir as much as they recognize Daya sir.
