Tbh, I don't see anything wrong with making Daya center of attention in some of the episodes. Itna to wo deserve karta hai .. He's sticking with the show since probably the longest , along with Satyam Ji. Other than that , the trio is the pillar of CIDverse and will always be . Daya has an unique appeal among younger people and he's even asked in the interviews regarding this . So , ofcourse channel will try to benefit from that and it's okay. He looks like a real cop .

That ain't a valid reason....waise toh Abhijeet is also there since the beginning...he isn't given equal importance.....and technically Pankaj and Purvi and Dr Salunkhe ko bhi manna chahiye...they agreed to come back after such a long time when they were even sure if CID 2 will work

Toh ideally everyone should be given equal importance....s1 mein bhi trio ko importance diya tha...but it wasn't that visible jitna abhi hein...

To be honest, Daya sucks alone as a package and himanshu being the centre of attraction makes it harder to watch the already dead CID. It was CID for a reason and not DID (Daya Investigation Department). Believe me, he is not the only famous one or more famous one. During the shooting for sequel of Haseen Dilruba, fans gathered for Abhijeet inspite of Vikraany Massey (super famous both as a TV character of Shyam and as a movie actor now) and Taapsee. Fans approach ACP with equal fervor as well. So all these bullshits like oh, children love Daya more are just cryouts. Only recently on Indian Idol for kids that CID fan was an Abhijeet fan out of the trio. Open your eyes and grow up, peeps.
