Don’t know how much truth in it bearing in mind it’s an old video made when news broke out of show coming back.

A planned finite series is better than indefinite stretching in which story suffers. However, the channel's unprofessional attitude is the problem here. Sony uses the show for ratings, ruins its quality, and then discards it.
