I just wonder if the channel wants to get rid of it because they are tired of hearing that Sony is running purely because of CID.

^ Thats the channel's fault not the production house. Even after 19 years CID is still on no 3 position even after no promotion and unusual time slot.

When I joined this forum, there were some others who knew the crew and told me that the channel is forcing the PH to make a certain type of episodes which they don't really like. That's why BP Singh decided to take a back seat and make those stupid OTT/YSPT type stories.

They also give a very less budget to CID, If you want good writers, you have to pay well, which the channel doesn't. They want to keep the show going for peanuts.

Now a days, we know that the actors and PH wants their original slot,(because Narendra sir has liked almost all my tweets to the channel in this matter) but the channel is cancelling CID at the last minute or delaying it. They pushed it to 10:30 for Kapil show. They stopped showing CID in May. The PH is not happy about all this.

Adi sir personally told Shag that they are all upset that they put in so much effort and the channel suddenly decides not to show it.

After all this, BP Singh might have gone and fought with the channel heads demanding original 10PM slot or at least show the episodes regularly. So, the channel head might have got angry and said that they'll fire BP Singh and make CID with another PH which will do as they want.

Trio obviously refused, because BP Singh has been with them for all these years and the actors cannot and should not dump him like that.

It is not the PH fault that the episodes are so bad. It's the channel who wanted excess drama and OTT at that time.

😭 God, I am so upset. i don't visit this forum much. But this article about CID ending has left me heartbroken. Can we not do anything? I know my whole family will be upset at this. This is the only show my Mum watches 😭 😡 I am present on social media, if I can contribute, in a small way I will surely try. Though I am unable to remain n line for long duration

Main thing is - both parties have to give up their egos and put the customer, that is us, ahead of everything. If more viewers like the show, advertisers will pay more, they will make more money, simple.

Channel should allow the PH to try new things and be innovative, give them the required budget and the timeslot they want.

PH should bring in fresh writers and give us better stories.

In the long run only this will sustain the show.

We can do something if we stand united. The fandom is scattered! All need to come under a roof!

Vis di idea is also great I will support that also. I am also trying to bring CID under the same roof but I am very new so trying to connect more CID fans through twitter.

If channel is not taking CID seriously then we should tweet , mail or anything to Sony & channel head to give respect to CID . And also to say we will boycott sony if this trend continues . There are many fans who are CID fans and also watch other shows . So this can have effect on them . Also to actors & makers to shift CID outside Sony . But tweeting actors & makers to air CID regularly or on good time is of no use . They can like or retweet your tweets . But they can't do anything more than that except shift the show completely on other channels . Strictly my POV . But when I met Shivaji Sir & asked about why CID wasn't airing these days , he told these matters are not in our hands . We are doing shooting & acting as per our schedule but when to air or not is channel's decision .
