Saman instead of closing the contest why not make it so that it's optional for people if they want to make it funny or not. Because I wrote a plot 3 times and each time it came out serious with a slight sci-fi touch, but no matter what I did it wouldn't come out comic. Maybe if you make it optional you'll get more participation. And if you extend the date by max another 2 weeks to say April 10th or 11th then I would surely send an entry in (it just wouldn't be comic).

Because the idea and plot are really good. But some people may just have a hard time doing comedy.
