Bomb Blast

Scene : A bungalow

The bungalow is up for sale and a lady comes to inspect it. The agent shows are around. She looks around and likes it. A man, probably her boyfriend comes in. (Their names are Anjali and Rahul 😆 )Anjali asks Rahul to buy the bungalow for her. Rahul asks the agent the price to which the agent says it is only' 30 crore! Rahul tells Anjali that it's too costly and asks her why she needs such a costly bungalow when he has already rented out a 2BHK for her and that too when she's staying alone. Anjali says that she wants her own house and 30 crore is peanuts for him. Rahul refuses to buy the house and leaves. Anjali angrily tells the agent to keep the papers ready and tells him that she'll make Rahul buy it for her.

Scene : Another house

A lady comes running, calling out to one Kanika. She finds Kanika inside and asks her to switch on the TV where they were showing the news of a blast which occurred in a car which CID team is investigating. Kanika identifies the car as Rahul's ( Kanika happens to be his wife!) Kanika is shocked.

Scene : Blast site

There are 2 cars fully burnt, one in which the bomb was placed and the other which was standing close to it. ACP talks to a man on the street who had seen the blast happen. CID team finds 3 bodies, fully burnt. They wonder what the 2 cars were doing in a deserted area, late at night. Sachin says that even the chassis number is not visible. ACP finds a half burnt bag with Rahul's PAN card.

Salunkhe arrives on the scene. ACP asks Salunkhe to investigate how the second car had burnt. Salunkhe suggests that it could be due to the impact of the blast from the other car.

Anjali arrives on the scene and watches the proceedings.

Purvi finds a trail of blood. ACP and Puvi follow the trail into the jungle and find a lady's sandal, suggesting that a lady was probably dragged from the car into the jungle.

Scene : Lab

Anjali walks into the lab where Rahul's postmortem was being performed and tells Salunkhe that she would like to spend some time with Rahul, who was her friend. Salunkhe agrees and goes to check something. Tarika too moves away to do something else. Vansh (the other cop...is that his name???) gets a call and moves out. Anjali stealthily pulls out a stamp paper on which a sale deed is printed and takes his thumb impression on it. Tarika notices and catches her red-handed. She pulls out the sale deed from Anjali's hand. Salunkhe questions Anjali who says that she only wanted his thumb impression and she had not killed him.

Scene : Blast scene

Sachin finds a broken indicator light of a bike. ACP asks his team to look around and see if there's a bike nearby. CID team checks but there's no bike.

ACP aks his team to check all hospitals nearby to see if the injured lady had come there for treatment.

At that moment Kanika (Rahul's wife) arrives on the scene and starts crying.

Scene : Hospital

Daya, Purvi, Nikhil and another cop ask the staff if 2 people with burn injuries had come there for treatment. The nurse and wardboys deny it, but sound tensed. Daya realises that they are lying and catches a wardboy's collar. Immediately the wardboy admits that 2 men had come for treatment.

Flashback:

One man comes in supporting another man who is severely injured. The nurse checks and finds that the man is dead and proceeds to call the police. The other man begs her not to call the police and bribes her.

Back to present:

Daya asks the nurse if there was a lady with them. The nurse says there was no lady with them. The doctor suspends her and the wardboy for this.

Daya wonders how one man had come with the dead man on a bike. The wardboy says that they had not come on a bike but in an auto. Daya wonders where the bike was.

Scene : Bureau

Daya asks Kanika as to where was Rahul going. Kanika says he's not sure but he had picked some papers and 10Cr rupees in cash, stuffed them into his bag and left saying that it is a 30 Cr land purchase deal.

Daya tells Kanika that the 10 Cr wasn't found on the crime spot. Daya shows her the burnt sale deed for the bungalow found in the car. Kanika says she doesn't know anything about the bungalow purchase

Daya gets a call from one Ramesh.

Scene : Road

ACP and the others meet Ramesh who shows them the bike which was matching the description they had given. ACP and others go into the bushes to check the bike. ACP asks Sachin to find out who was the owner of the bike

Scene : Anjali's house

Abhijeet and Shreya question her about the bungalow's sale deed. Anjali tells Abhijeet that Rahul was going to give her half of his property. Anjali also tells CID team that Rahul had given her 10Cr rupees to buy the bungalow. Shreya asks Anjali where Rahul had gone after giving her the 10Cr. Anjali says that Rahul had some other businesses too which she was not aware of.

Scene: Forensic garage.

Salunkhe and Tarika inspect the burnt car. Salunkhe suddenly bursts out laughing and tells CID team that one of the cars wasn't burnt due to the blast but someone had poured petrol on it and set it afire. Daya wonders who wanted to hide evidence by burning the half-burnt car and suspects that it could be the guy on the bike or the lady whose sandal was found in the blast spot.

Sachin phones Daya and tells him that the bike belongs to one Sunil.

Scene : Sunil's house

CID team hear people crying inside and assume that it could be the funeral of one of the guy who died in the hospital and whose death the nurse tried to cover up. (His name is Rakesh)

Daya tells the mourners that Rakesh had died in a bomb blast. His parents are surprised because Sunil had told them that Rakesh had met with an accident. Daya asks them to call Sunil. Purvi and Nikhil go inside to look for Sunil. Sunil who is hiding in the washroom tries to push away Nikhil and run but Nikhil catches him.

Sunil tells CID team that he used to work for Rahul's drugs smuggling business. His mom hits him. Daya asks about the girl who had vanished from the scene. Sunil tells CID team.

Scene : Hospital

A lady begs the doctor to treat the injured girl who is sitting on a wheelchair with her face burnt. The doctor refuses to treat her without knowing how her face was burnt. CID team arrives at the reception of the hospital and asks about the lady who has suffered burns.

Daya talks to the doctor who leads him to the ward where the girl was waiting. By the time they reach the ward, they find the girls missing. CID team searches the hospital. The ladies meanwhile reach the car with the help of a guy and try to escape.

The uninjured lady starts the car but the car doesn't move. Guess what! CID team comprising of Freddie, Pankaj and Jaywanti lift the rear side of the car with their hands and stop it from moving. . Then Pankaj's hands start paining and he lets go. But Jaywanti compensates. Then Freddie gets tired and lets go. Superwoman' Jaywanti continues to hold the car! (What can I say???? Can it get more OTT than this! FW...can't you think of something more sensible? This is absolutely trashy! 🤢 😵 ) Jaywant suddenly lets go. The car springs forward and hits a wall. Jaywanti pulls out the guy sitting in the car and starts hitting him. Daya arrives on the scene and holds her hand 😵 and stops her from hitting the guy. He gives her a piece of his mind asking her to control her anger. The guy and the 2 girls are taken to the bureau.

Scene : Bureau

The guy whose name is Vinod admits to have burnt the car with petrol because he wanted to hide evidence about his drugs business. He explains that when the blast happened, Rahul was sitting on the bonnet of his car and talking about the drugs deal to Sunil, Rakesh and himself (Vinod). Komal, the lady whose face was burnt was sitting in the rear seat of her car. Vinod and Sunil received calls and moved aside. At that time the car exploded. Sunil rushed to try and save his brother Rakesh while he rushed to save Komal. Vinod pulled Komal out, made her stand against a tree and called his PA Leena to come there with petrol. He sent Komal to the hospital with Leena while Sunil went to the hospital on his bike with this brother. Then Vinod burnt the car with the petrol. CID team wonder who had fixed the bomb to the car.

Vinod tells CID team that Rahul mentioned that he was late because his car had gone to the garage for engine oil change. Daya wonders if the bomb was fixed during this engine oil change and decides to find the garage.

Scene: Lab

Salunkhe joins pieces of broken glass obtained from the car and finds the name of the garage - CW Car Garage. (What if some other letters were missing? How was Salunkhe so sure that it is CW and not WC?? 😕 )

Scene : Garage

Daya arrives on his stylish bullet. He turns the mechanic upside down and interrogates him. Finally the mechanic admits that he had fixed the bomb to the car. Daya slaps the mechanic who reveals that he had fixed the bomb as per the instructions of Rahul's manager.

Scene : A bungalow.

Rahul's manager runs in shirt, tie and shorts and reaches the terrace. CID team reaches there. Daya gives him a hard slap and the manager confesses that he was not the mastermind but the person who was going to receive the property was the mastermind of this plan. Daya asks him who was going to receive the property. He reveals it to Daya (It's not revealed to us)

Scene : Kanika's house

Anjali arrives in her car with her security guys. Kanika comes down and asks her who she is. Anjali tells her that she's the owner of the house. Kanika asks her to get out. Anjali shows her Rahul's will where Rahul had made Anjali the beneficiary of his property after his death. Kanika is shocked to see it. Anjali tells Kanika that Rahul loved her.

Daya reaches the spot and tells Kanika that Anjali is right! Nikhil brings in Rahul's assistant who reveals that Kanika was the person who asked him to fix a bomb in Rahul's car. Kanika says that it's all nonsense. Purvi gives her a hard slap, Kanika confesses.

Kanika says that she killed Rahul because he loved Anjali and planned to give all his property to Anjali. Daya delivers the phaasi dialogue.
