OMG...such a long discussion...!!!

NOM to anyone. This is my personal view. I request everyone to take this in the right spirit.

First of all I don't see anything wrong with opening a combined thread. Both birthdays come close to each other so people wanted to avoid too many contests on the forum. BUT...honestly I prefer indivudual themes to combined themes.

I don't want to point any fingers at anyone whose idea this was and I don't say it is their fault either. They did what they thought was right. And I on my part decided to participate in whatever I felt comfortable in.

Siggie contest: There are individual themes. so I don't see why any Aditya fan should feel insulted.

Poem contest: there are individual themes here too.

WAs contest: A mere presence of Purvi's cap doesn't mean it has to be a combined scene. She's part of the team, so need to deliberately keep her out.

VM Contest: There is an individual theme here as well.

Story contest: Just the rule saying that it has to be both 'Abhijeet and Purvi centric' can be removed. It can be anyone centric. Just that the theme includes Purvi doesn't mean 50% of the scenes should be with her. It can just show that scene and the rest on how Abhijeet gets out of trouble.

But it is too late now. I have written and rewritten the story many times and now I am on a clear path so if you add another theme at this statge or scrap the contest it is just not fair.

Essay contest:Frankly maybe the organizers have got it slightly wrong here. All themes are on Abhijeet-Purvi bond. I like Purvi individually but I personally don't see any personal bond as such...ok they are nice and cordial to each other but there's nothing more than that.Maybe some of you do see it...but there are many who don't. There should have been individual themes here.

But here...people who had complaints should have mentioned this on the day the contest thread was posted. Why did you wait for so long, suffer in silence and then vent it out at such a later stage in the contest? Silence is a form of acceptance. when no one had complaints the contest themes were assumed to be accepted by all.

This is not a war zone...it's a place to have fun. If you don't like something mention it before it reaches a point of no return. (Am I safe in assuming that some people decided to participate yesterday and only then saw the theme properly??? 😛)

Boycotting the contests or leaving the forum for such reasons is a mark of childishness. only essay contest has no Aditya theme and this can be rectified. I think an extra theme can be added for Adi sir fans. His bday is 22 days away and there is still time to write.

I once again request everyone to take my post in the right spirit.

when i saw last year's contests i was so happy that this year will be the same contests.😊
but,when i saw the contests themes i was totally shocked.😲 really it was hurting for me...but i thought who m i to change the themes if the persons like Deba di and Snehal are agreed with this.
But now,really no point of discussion,the days left are very few and i have sent my entries,i can't change nothing...😔

Sorry...what is 'shocking'? That there's a combined thread? 😕 Isn't it a burden for organisers to open separate contest threads? If people wanted individual Aditya threads, they could have come forward long back...why complain now?

Di i was expecting a ditto contests themes as it was earlier,this is shocking for me...
And i m not complaining,just expressing my thoughts about it.i m new here,i know i can't organise such contests,If i were able to do,i'd definitely do it...not discussing more,i know nothing can be change now

Last year there was a VM theme 'Abhijeet-the super cop' and there were 6 entries on it.is not it a good participation? This year no such theme,due to extra loads,again m not complaining.i understood ur point di.
Ek to participants ki kami hai,aur upar se do alag alag contests hote to...so combined is better i think.got ur point di.😊

I am not so childish to take decision abruptly but i m really tired of contests issues in every year...each year someone quits the contest or forum for some reason...& its more shocking to me that this time it comes due to my silly idea

I agree that u should raise ur voice earlier then we can organize separate contests but as vis said silence means acceptance & there was no comments against this combined contest on the thread...it clearly indicates that no one has objection...if anyone object openly, i would try surely to do something...

About opening poll...as Snehal said that maximum time polls give no proper solution...we saw this regarding caps posting...so we avoid that...

And frankly speaking, maine sapne mein vi nehin socha tha koi Aditya sir fans ka objection hoga par ab lagta hei maine unke fans ko pehchan ne mein galati kar diya...

Yeah i accepted that we didn't follow up all themes clearly & overlooked essay theme...i have talked with Shreya & new themes will be added without changing old themes...

But when u guys said - 'we are quitting whether the theme would change or not' ...it really hurts organizers also...u guys discussed all through pms...& that 'we' means @roopal is not alone who is quitting the contests...don't u think u guys should tell it earlier & discuss openly...& every time why organizers have to tolerate this 'quitting'...is the problem so big that we could not find solution except 'quitting'...all organizers spend their time to held the contests...kya participants ka koi farz nehin...problem hua to bas quitting contest...guys i m really tired...& yesterday i said to leave the forum just becoz of this attitude...

Deba di..the idea isn't silly..and please don't say about leaving the forum..
