Okay guys relax. This started off on one tangent and has now headed off on a completely different tangent. This is the last note as I'm closing this topic now. If you still want to discuss the matter, please PM me.@ Ravi and Padma: Guys no one is insulting Ansha ma'am. All the people are saying is that they didn't want combined contests, which really arose mainly because of the essay contest. For the essay contest either we'll change the themes or we'll add one theme specifically around Aditya sir and one theme specifically around Ansha ma'am. Also no one is insulting Purvi either. What Roopal and the others are saying is that they didn't like the fact that both ASes were being brought together in one thread.
@ Anamika, Roopal, and others like them: What Vis di said is absolutely true. If you had problems with the themes you should have brought it up when the contests first began. I had told Sree and I think Vis di that if there were any problems then we would divide the contests again and I would have held true to that word. The fact that you're suggesting that "we" will leave the forum or never participate again hurts the hosts and the other contestants. Every year someone has an issue with the contests and they never participate again. That's why this step had been taken in a way to increase the participation on contests so that hosts don't feel bad. I can tell you from my side that last year when I only received 2 entries for Daya sir's VM contest I was ready to stop holding VM contests again. Yet I still came forward this time with the hopes of increased participation.
@ Anamika: Each year we have the same themes and sometimes that becomes a bit boring. That's why when this idea came up this year it was something different and new. It would bring forward themes that were never seen before and give people a chance to really show their creative side.
@ Debasree: Once again Sree don't say sorry. We never did realize that things could go this far out.
@ All: Guys once again I want you to take a step back and not look at this as unfair or incorrect. Think of it as a new opportunity of showing your love and respect to 2 great actors because whether you want to say it or not, both Aditya Srivastava and Ansha Sayed are great actors. If you feel bad that a contest doesn't have a theme for the 2 separately don't participate in that contest. At least give the hosts and the contestants and the fans of the actors the respect to acknowledge their efforts. If you have an issue with someone's post then don't keep replying to it and escalating the matter. As Vis di, Sree, and others point out all the time simply press the Report button and walk away from the matter.
@ Fans of Aditya sir: Don't look at this as a sign of disregard to a man who has been part of CID for 15 years, but rather as a sign of respect that people are taking his relationship with another actress to the level where they're honouring both together. Think about it from Aditya sir's perspective. He's a man who respects and honours everyone. You should to.
@ Fans of Ansha ma'am: Don't look at this thread as a sign of insults or disrespect to your elder sister and a great actress, but rather as a discussion on why they were unwilling to accept a combined contest. Because at the end of the day this is what the thread was about. The people commenting here were not saying that they don't like Ansha ma'am, but rather that they don't like that the contests were combined.
A final note for all: From this point forward I don't want any forum discussion on this topic. If you have an issue with something please PM me. If you have an issue with a post, report it. Please respect the hosts, the contestants, and, most importantly, the fans! Because at the end of the day when this decision was made it was made with the acceptance of a small group of fans of both actors. Maybe now we realize that it should have been an open decision, but we learn from our mistakes and this was a mistake that we now know not to repeat again. So let's move on over the issues and respect the actors and their fans and end this matter right here.
