The episode starts with some guy wondering what someone is doing inside the resort's steam chamber and why he isn't coming out. Someone holding a knife starts to come up behind him and gives him the knife he asked for. The man takes the knife and cuts off the resort's tag on his wrist and forcibly enters the chamber.
He tries calling out the man there but the guy doesn't respond. When he hits him on the head from behind, the head simply falls off.
The manager along with the worker come there and seeing the sight the worker runs off screaming.
Here Purvi is in her colony going for work and hears some arguments going on there. The girl there says that she doesn't know the 2 guys who've been coming to her house since 2 days while the guys argue they always knew her and called them herself. The neighbours argue to have this woman removed immediately. The girl says she'll clear out in 2 days.
People in the resort create a ruckus and are leaving out when ACP and team come up for investigation and say no one will leave till investigation is over.
The team opens up the steam box to see the body is missing. ACP checks the box and wonders why is the head left here while body is vanishing and wonders what has happened here.
They wonder why no splatter of blood anywhere when the murder happened.
ACP meets with the victim Rajit's friends while the rest of the team investigate the murder.
Rajit's friends tell them that Rajit seemed perfectly normal in the morning when they met.
He tells that the steam room attendant Ricky prepared the room for him and that he left after Rajit went into the steam room.
ACP asks them to call Ricky while here Taarika and Salunkhe collect evidence.
The manager says Ricky has been missing since the incident. One guy rushes up saying another murder has happened in the hotel.
ACP,Purvi and the team go to the room to see a guy stabbed multiple times on the chest. ACP finds the guy's mobile and tells Karan to check for finger prints. Kavin finds an empty briefcase and hands it over to ACP. Purvi finds drinks glasses which means someone came who the victim Vinay knew.
ACP and the team inquire more about Vinay at the reception and the girl says he came around 8 in the morning and no one came to visit him from outside. She tells him that he had a steel briefcase he was very careful about and even asked for a personal locker for it.
Karan comes telling he took fingerprints from Rajit's phone. ACP checks the last dialed no. which came from someone named partner. Purvi gets a call and she tells the person on the other end to start the work today itself.
Here in a building a guy with a gun is roaming around. He comes up to a house door and looks around and leaves.
The guy's who'd been irritating Purvi's neighbour Jiya come up as usual asking her to open the door and she doesn't. The guys checking around notices all this.
Here Salunkhe is at work in the lab. Taarika finds something weird in the guys head. She says that there's no sign of hitting or cutting on the neck and surprisingly the inner of the head is totally empty as if it's been melt out.
Salunkhe tells her to check the fluid found from his head. She tests and is shocked by the result. Salunkhe also checks it to know that his head's inside and body were melt down using an acid and them removed via the pip all in 30 minutes.
Salunkhe tells that the drain pipe they found had tissue pieces. Seems to be a new invention of an acid.
Salunkhe tells this seems to be an acid that doesn't work on metallic substance as the steam box didn't melt and that he was first made unconscious and then killed.
Kavin says that they can find about the patent of the acid through a govt. office. He gets a call saying that the name partner on Vinay's phone was none other than Rajit's.
Which means Rajit knew Vinay and that maybe the 2 glasses found in Vinay's room were used by them.
The team goes into Ricky's house and searches. Kavin finds a bottle which seems to contain the acid on the cupboard. They think that a steam room attendant can't do all this and must've been told by someone to do this for them.
They inquire the neighbours about Ricky who tells them he left on a truck with a bad. The sand items near the truck tracks indicate that it carried construction material.
The team goes to find about the acid item registered. They find the name of Hydra works owned by Rajit and Vinay in the list.
The team meets Vinay's wife Naina who tells them that Vinay didn't have any enemies. She tells them that he was getting threatening calls since some days. They ask her about Hydra works. She tells them she didn't know much about it. She tells them that Vinay was supposed to take the chemical in a briefcase to the seminar. She tells them that he was rusticated from college for some case.
Here the other half of the team come to the place where the truck seemed to have stopped. They go into the under construction building and check it and find Ricky there who seems to have gone into a kind of shock and that his skin has become a stiff. Freddy seems some form of gel on Rixky's skin and around his body which seems to have made his skin stiff as a rock. They call an ambulance to take Ricky.
Salunkhe demonstrates something with a chemical similar to that found on crime scene. The trial happening on a dummy human body and passes the chemical as steam into the box.
After some 15 minutes the pip connected into the box starts draining out what seems like blood and around after 30 minutes the whole body has been flushed out as liquid.
Abhijeet,Shreya,Pankaj (finally feels nice to write names of cops I actually seem to know) come to Vinay's college to ask about the 2005 case.
They meet a senior teacher Ramesh asking about the incident. He tells them they were rusticated when a student was killed that year in the laboratory. He tells them that night someone was working seriously late into the night in the lab. When he entered the lab to check he saw a guy named Sampath there and when he walked up to him a few seconds later fumes started rising from the Sampath body and Rajit and Vinay came rushing. A few moments later Sampath totally melted.
Purvi gets a call and she tells she'll be at the restaurant in some time. Purvi comes to the restaurant and see the 2 guys irritating Jiya there. She and the other guy who she hired to keep a check at what's happening with Jiya confront them. They tell her that Jiya used to call them. When she confronts them properly they try escaping but she gets a good hold of them and beats them down.
Abhijeet and team go through the records to see that Rajit and Vinay had invented a chemical that could melt down anything in 30 minutes.Pankaj sees a surprising person's name in one of the folders.
The guy ACP has met first at the resort as Rajit's friend makes a deal with someone and sells them this chemical, when he turns around after taking the money he sees CID there. The holds the one he's making a deal with and threatens to burn him up in case they come ahead.
Dushyant comes from behind and the chemical falls on him. Abhijeet tells Vansh to take him to the hospital while Abhijeet takes down the criminal.
Confession : The guy tells them that he needed money so he stole Sampat's chemical which could freeze people. He killed him using that and killed Rajit and Vinay with their made chemical that could melt people. He tells them he first killed Vinay and then stole the chemical they made and with Ricky's help killed Rajit as well.
He tells them that Ricky was blackmailing him so he tried killing him as well.
Abhijeet tells him that he should be hanged for such crimes.
Here Purvi confronts the colony people who admit that to take Jiya out of the house to sell it they created this drama to get rid of her. Jiya thanks Purvi and Purvi tells her to always stand for her right.
