Yeah thank god he got a role in movies. Otherwise everyone was treating Aditya like the biggest superstar in the world as he was in more movies. No his not. Daya is.

I am both happy and sad. I have seen Singham 2 in tamil and one of the cop who supports the hero is attacked brutally. I don't want to see Daya in that role. Fingers crossed.

Daya Shetty in Singham 2

CID's iconic character Inspector Daya might just have landed a role in Rohit Shetty's Singham 2. Dayanand Shetty who took on Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Blockbuster to test his physical and mental strength might not have made too many friends because of his introvertish nature during the grueling outdoor location of the show in South Africa.
but was reportedly quite a heartwarming presence and his co-contestants affectionately called him 'Sir' and put him on a pedestal. His death defying stunts were much appreciated by filmmaker Rohit Shetty who makes his debut on the show as a host this season.


Shetty who had insisted that his "casting for Singham 2" which goes on the floor in the second half of the year is "locked" has apparently offered a role in his film to Dayanand. The macho actor who has always been instructed in CID by his senior ACP Pradyuman to "tod do darwaza" and is a favourite with his younger audiences will essay the role of a police inspector alongwith Ajay Devgn in the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster film. A source close to the actor has gone on record to make a statement that Daya has already been signed for the film and will start work on it. There have been no official confirmation or denial from the producer/filmmaker or the actor himself.
If by a stroke of luck, Daya does get lucky, he'd have an edge over his small screen counterparts in the reality show that also has other Bollywood aspirants, Gurmeet Choudhary, Kushal Tandon and Karanvir Vohra, all set to launch themselves in the Hindi film industry this year. Will Daya hit the big screen this year? That's a revelation that time will unfold.#
