Scene: Lab
Tarika comes in looking for Dr Salunkhe but finds him missing. She looks at the table where the laash was supposed to be. She looks around and finds Salunkhe lying unconscious under a table with a wound on his head.
Flashback:
Scene: A bungalow, late at night
3 guys, apparently cops discuss about one Vicky who would give his statement about a criminal Rocky. Suddenly Vicky rushes out of the house as if he's gone mad and falls dead.
CID team (Abhijeet, Sachin and Nikhil) arrive and find that there are no injuries on Vicky's body. The 3 guys who are from the special task force tell Abhijeet that no one has entered or left the house as the house was well guarded. Abhijeet finds one window open in Vicky's room. Outside the window they find a thick jungle, hence they go and check in the jungle. They search for sometime and find a branch of a tree with blood marks on it. Presuming that the murderer of Vicky might have hurt himself while hiding there Abhijeet asks Sachin to take a sample of the blood.
Back to present
Scene : Lab
Tarika revives Salunkhe. After a while ACP, Daya, Freddie and Purvi come in. They ask Salunkhe what had happened. He is silent and looks dazed. Finally he says that he has had the shock of his life. While he was doing the post mortem of Vicky, he had suddenly woken up, hit him with a torch and rendered him unconscious. ACP and Daya don't believe him and think that he's delirious after his head injury. ACP asks Freddie to go and check the CCTV footage of the camera kept outside the lab. Freddie checks and confirms that Vicky was indeed alive. Daya says that if Rocky's gang discovered that Vicky was alive they would try to kill him. ACP asks his team to find Vicky.
Scene: Vicky's house
Abhijeet, Sachin and Nikhil check the house. Abhijeet checks Vicky's car and finds a piece of paper with 'Tony' and a half visible mobile number scribbled on it. Nikhil finds a laptop which has been secured by password. Abhijeet asks him to send it to the lab.
Abhijeet finds that the car has a GPS navigator. It shows several trips made to Kamla Nagar in the last few days. He thinks that they can probably find information about Tony in Kamla Nagar.
Scene: A building in Kamla Nagar.
Abhijeet shows the photo of Tony to the watchman. The watchman says that Vicky often visited Tony who lived in the building. He also says that Tony died the previous day.
Abhijeet talks to Tony's wife Namrata who fails to recognise Vicky. Shreya finds it surprising that the watchman had seem Vicky several times but Tony's wife didn't know him. Namrata says that she was abroad for several days.
Abhijeet asks her how Vicky had died. A man present there says that the previous day afternoon Tony started banging the door violently. When they came in he looked terribly in pain and was lying on the ground. They called the doctor but Tony died before the doctor arrived. The doctor said that Tony had suffered a heart attack. Namrata says that this was unlikely as Tony took good care of his health.
Shreya calls Abhijeet aside and tells him that Vicky's and Tony's deaths looked similar. Abhijeet decides to take out Tony's body from the grave. (Thank God he wasn't cremated)
Scene : Graveyard
CID team dig and take out Tony's coffin. They find Tony's nails injured. Abhijeet finds scratch mails on the lid of the coffin, meaning Tony wasn't dead - Just like Vicky he was not actually dead. Tony's body is sent to the lab.
Scene: Bureau
ACP looks to be brooding over something. Daya asks him what was the matter. ACP mentions something about a letter and Chitroley missing for several days. (A seed sown for a future episode????)
Purvi calls them and says that she had cracked the password to Vicky's laptop. She shows a single file named 21B in it. When she tries opening it, the file gets deleted, meaning Vicky had secured it in such a way that if the laptop was opened in an unauthorised manner the file would get deleted. CID team wonders what could this 21B be.
Tarika comes in and explains how Vicky and Tony had 'died'. Tony's body contained traces of a poison found in a South American spider which would cause the body to be paralysed and heart beat to come to a stand still and this would simulate death. When the effect of the poison wore off both Vicky and Tony had woken up. ACP wonders why the doctor who had checked Tony hadn't found this out and why he had given a false death certificate.
Tarika says that the blood sample brought from the jungle contained Sodium Pentathon (??? 😕) which is a truth serum (veritaserum in Harry Potter terminology) This is given to criminals in jail to make them reveal the truth.( )
Daya says that it is possible to trace any criminal who had been recently released from jail who was given this truth serum.
Scene: Doctor's house
Abhijeet, Sachin and Nikhil find the doctor tired up and gagged, lying in his bathroom. The doctor is untied and given a glass of water. Then the doctor tells CID team that a few days back a masked man had come to his house and told him that he should give a fake death certificate for Tony. When the doctor refused he fitted a bomb to his body and threatened to explode the bomb. He says that he did this to save his own life.
Abhijeet finds a gold chain under a table which the doctor says is not his own. Abhijeet assumes that it could be the masked man's. Abhijeet gets a call informing him about who had used the South American spider poison.
Scene: Namrata's house
Abhijeet and Shreya accuse Namrata of murdering Tony and also reveal that they are aware that the relationship between Tony and Namrata had turned sour. Abhijeet again asks Namrata If she knows Vicky. She admits that she knows Vicky and he was the person who spoiled the relationship between her and her husband. Shreya tells her about the South American poison and that Namrata had visited South America in the recent past. Namrata says that she didn't kill Vicky and Tony. She tells Abhijeet about an incident one night when she overheard Vicky reminding Tony about how he had helped him in the past in AD Marg (didn't get the name properly) and he asks Tony for help. Tony says that he doesn't want to get involved in the mess again. Namrata tells Abhijeet that Tony had told her that he was involved in some illegal activity before their marriage. This led to the fights between Namrata and Tony.
Abhijeet decides to find out the mystery of AD Marg.
Scene: AD Marg
(The moment I saw duo together I knew we are in for a mishap. How right I was...😆)
Abhijeet, Daya, Sachin and Purvi reach a deserted godown. Since Vicky's laptop mentioned 21B, they decide to check godown no 21B.
Daya finds a bag with fake passports and Purvi finds foreign currency. Abhijeet notices a CCTV camera and understands that someone was watching them. Suddenly they hear the ticking sound of a bomb and find a bomb planted inside a box. At the same time they hear the sound of the godown's shutter going down. They rush towards the shutter. Purvi, Sachin and Daya get out but Abhijeet delays a few seconds as he finds a paper in the godown and decides to pick it up. By the time Abhijeet crawls out from underneath the shutter the shutter lands on his stomach. Daya puts a log under the shutter to prevent it from pressing down on Abhijeet's stomach. Finally Daya and Sachin drag Abhijeet out. They barely manage to run to safe distance before bomb explodes. Abhijeet says that Vicky is behind the blast.
Daya examines the paper for which Abhijeet had risked his life. He's finds the details of Rocky the criminal. Sachin says that Rocky had died in Singapore 3 years back, meaning someone else was operating a gang in the name of Rocky.
Abhijeet gets a call from ACP saying that there's a criminal named Raja who had escaped from jail a few days ago and he was given truth serum. Daya says that this could be the guy who had tried to kill Vicky. Abhijeet shows a photo of Raja and says that the guy has been spotted near a bus stand by a constable. CID team decides to catch Raja.
Scene: Bus stand
CID team finds Raja in the bus stand and chase him. But someone shoots at Raja . Abhijeet finds the shooter watching from a distance and asks Nikhil to chase and catch him. Finally Abhijeet catches him. The guy says that he had come to shoot at Raja but before he could shoot someone else had shot at Raja. Abhijeet checks the gun and finds that there's no smell of gun powder, meaning he was speaking the truth. Abhijeet asks who had given supari to kill Raja. The guy says that the person had covered his face and had a burn scar on his right hand. Abhijeet remembers having seen the burn scar on the hand of Deepak - one of the special task force guys.
Scene: A House where the special task force guys were staying
CID team arrives to catch Deepak but find two other cops chasing him and shooting him. Deepak dies. Abhijeet questions the 2 cops who say that they had come to know that Deepak was running the gang and he had tried to attack them. They show the evidence to Abhijeet. - a file with details about Deepak.
Scene: Bureau
Purvi comes in with some old newspaper articles which show the connection between Vicky and Tony. A major theft was committed in Capital museum 15 years back in which there were 3 accused - Aakash and 2 others. The 2 others had shot at Akash and left him to die. Akash was in coma for 15 years. 8 months back there was a major fire in the hospital where he was being treated and he was killed. Freddie says that Akash's family members might be taking revenge against Tony and Vicky. Purvi shows the photo of Akash's wife and son. The son was wearing the same gold chain which was found in the doctor's host. Purvi says that Akash's wife had died 3 years back. The son was now grown-up and was now known as Inspector Karan.
Scene: Inspector Karan's house
Abhijeet and Shreya search the house but Karan is missing. Abhijeet finds a file hidden behind a cupboard. He finds a photo in it and shows it to Shreya. It's one of the special task force guys.
Scene : A hideout
Insp Karan is tied to a chair. Another guy comes out laughing. (He was also seen as DCP of the special task force at the bungalow where Vicky was killed. But didn't Abhijeet verify if he's a real DCP or not??? 😕 ) He tells Karan that his father caused them a lot of trouble and that's why he's being punished. He says that he was the one who had trapped Deepak and got him killed. Karan tells him that he would never benefit by killing him.
The unknown guy calls another guy standing outside and asks him if all the evidence is destroyed. The guy says one more task is remaining. Exactly at that time someone shoots at him.
Inside the chief goon hears the gunshot. An unknown mam comes in and asks him to release Karan. The face of the unknown man is revealed. He was one of the men present in Tony's house.
CID team arrives at that moment and asks everyone to freeze. The guy who had just come in says that he's Akash.
The other chief goon tries to run away, there's some dishum dishum and finally Daya gives the final slap to both the chief goon and Akash. Akash says that the vchief goon was the head of the gang and Vicky and Tony had tried to kill him(Akash) on his orders. He wanted revenge against Vicky and Tony and makes them realise how it feels to be in coma so he used the spider poison.
Sachin asks how he was alive because there was a fire in the hospital where he was treated. Akssh says that he had recovered from coma by then so he managed to save himself.
Daya asks how he managed to inject the poison into Vicky's body. Akash says he used a remote controlled electronic spider.
Abhijeet says both of them would get phaansi for their respective crimes.
PS: I didn't understand what happened to Vicky... The guy who ran away from the lab...the Zinda laash.
If anyone has the answer please tell me.
