You're so lucky that you get break after midterms.

In my school, midterm week is like finals week. You go in to take your midterm, and leave when you finish. And you don't have to go to school the days you don't have midterms.

For me, I have Global History tomorrow at 10, Biology the next day at 8:15, and then Geometry on Wednesday at 10. I don't have to go in on Thursday, but Friday marks the last day of fall semester. So I have to show up, and then I have the weekend, and then back to school again.

Yeah we get a break every 6-8 weeks. :) oh really? That's awesome! You get the exams and all finished and don't have to come when you don't have a exam? Wow! I wish it was like that here! OMG wow! That's so cool!! 😲

No school on Thursday for you and your classes start at different days each day! OMG! For us we just go to school everyday and start at 8.55am and go on until 3.15pm 🥱 On top of that extra 3 hours traveling all day for me 🥱

Oh I forgot to share! 😳

I received my GCSE choices booklet on Wednesday parents evening! Phew! The evening was super tiring! I returned home at 10pm after staying in school all day! 🥱 Anyway, I received my GCSE booklet and I'm super excited about it but I'm also very tensed about which courses I should choose.

The GCSEs have changed. We can't resit a exam if we fail and we just have to do the whole course again and stay in school another year. We do two options in year 9 ( starting in June with a fresh timetable which follows into year 10 too) and then we do two options in year 11. So much has changed! 😲

Has anyone done GCSEs before?? What sort of options should I opt out for if I want to become a surgeon or atleast go into medicine? I'm choosing triple science but what else? Any ideas?

My regular school day starts at 8:05 and ends at 2:40. But many days I stay till 3:30, sometimes even 4:30.

I only spend 5-7 minutes in traveling though. Because I live within half mile from my school, I don't get a bus (but others near me do... Shocking). So my dad drives me and my brother to and from school.
