The straightforward investigation was charm of this story!. And i loved to know you showed daya making such lovely relations in orphanage too. Else usually it's all bad memories related to his that phase of life.

I didn't finish my story but decided to read all pending stories today as bedtime reading.

First of all the title removed me of an old 'bhai ka wada' dialogue. I shuddered to think if that behen was back or what. Thank god it wasn't. 😆

In one place I was reminded of a Jaya Prada song. You know which one?


The story was good...a different one from the khoons and lasshes we all write all the time. Why didn't you post it earlier? It was a nice pleasant bed time story.

I am pleasantly surprised you all are actually liking this story... Frankly its written by Duo ki Diwani... It has lots of Duo in it... Emotional scenes aveyi dialogues... Lots of officers doing Mr. India... Lot of coincidences heee heee... I thought it will laugh worthy... Anyways I am so happy you all liked it... Now I have a new mission a non-investigative story with golden team as requested by Snehal... Its really tough to write non-investigative stories...

My First Non-investigative Story - Thodisi Khushi

Scene 1

Abhijeet is about to sit in his car when he gets a letter...

"Kuch Saal Pehle Jo thi tumhari Saathi

Kai cases tumhare saath thi Suljhati,

Aaj banega uss hi ka ek case Anokha,

Jaan bachani ho toh pahunch jao Hotel Alekha...

Iss patra ke picche pata hai diya

Wahin par hai tumhe akele aana

Samay hoga aaj dopahar ke 12 baje ka tola

Agar ki hoshiyaari toh hoga uski ki jaan ko khona"

He turns the letter and finds the address... He folds the letter and keeps it in his pocket... He drives to Daya's house and picks him up. Both reach bureau, they did not speak to each other in the entire route. The go to the bureau and sit down at their places.. ACP enters he is worried he looks at Duo who are lost in their thoughts...

ACP: Abhijeet Daya zara meri cabin mei aana...

Duo move towards the cabin.

ACP: kya baat hai? Aaj itne gumsum kyun ho?

Abhijeet: Sir woh...

Freddy: (enters th cabin) Sir yeh dekhiyee... (Shows the same letter Abhijeet has received this morning)

Trio shocked as they remove their letters too...

Daya: chitthi se toh saaf zahir hai yeh ek ladki hai sir... kaun ho sakti hai?

Abhijeet: Sir ho sakta hai bakiyon ko bhi yeh letters aaye ho...

ACP: bulao sab ko andar...

Everyone is called in...

ACP: (pointing the letters on the table) Aise letters tum logon ko bhi aayee hai?

Everyone denies...

Abhijeet: iska matlab yeh huva sir ki woh sirf hum chaaron ki poorani saathi hai... Inki ki nahi...

ACP: haan, Sachin Kajal ke saath kaam kar chuka hai matlab yeh ladki jarur Kajal se pehle humare saath kaam karti thi... Ek kaam karo Abhijeet tum un saari lady that officers ki list nikalo jo Kajal se pehle humare saath kaam karti thi... Aur unhe contact karne ki koshish karo dekho kaun kaun gayab hai...

Sachin: Aaree sir woh mai pata kar leta hoo database mei details toh honge naa...

Abhijeet: (surprisingly) theek hai...

ACP: yeh bhi pata karo yeh paper kahan se bana hoga...

Daya: haan sir main...

Nikhil: Main aur Pankaj pata kar lenge sir...

Daya: (surprisingly) theek hai...

Abhijeet: Sir mujhe yeh letter meri car ke wiper pe mila aur aap logon ko?

Daya: mere Newspaper mei ayya tha..

ACP: meri bhi car mei tha aur Freddy tumhe?

Freddy: Sir meri wife ko mila woh letter box ke pass pada huva mila ...

Daya: iska matlab sir sab ko alag alag jagah se mila? Aur yeh handwriting sir... Lagta hai..

Purvi (cutting Daya in the middle) Sir Iss par jo address likha hai wahan agar aap ko samay par pahunchna hai toh aap ko abhi nikalna hoga...

Abhijeet: Par sir yeh koi mazak bhi toh ho sakta hai

Shreya: Agar nahi huva toh kisi begunah ki jaan chali jayegi sir... Mujhe lagta hai aap logon ko ek baar jaa kar check karna chahiye sir...

Purvi, Sachin, Pankaj and Nikhil in one voice "haan sir hume bhi yehi lagta hai...

Trio surprised...

ACP: Accha theek hai... Par hum chaaron chale gaye toh

Sachin: hum log hai naa sir aur kuch emergency hui toh hum aap ko call karenge sir...

ACP: accha theek hai Abhijeet, Daya. Freddy chalo...

All the four leave while rest five officer smile looking at each other...

Scene 2

In Qualis...

ACP: Daya tum bureau mei handwriting ke baare mei kuch keh rahe the...

Daya: haan sir woh handwriting jaani pehchaani lagi...

Abhijeet: Accha zara dekhu toh... (Takes the letter out) hmm haan sir jaani pehchani toh hai par pata nahi kiski?

ACP: Sachin ko phone kar ke kaho Salunkhe ko check karne ko de de...

Abhijeet: (smiling) ji sir...

ACP: has kyun rahe ho?

Abhijeet: Sir aap ko laga nahi hum chaaron ko chodkar bureau mei sabhi ajeeb si harkatein kar rahe the...

Freddy: Kaam ka stress hoga sir...

Daya: Sub ko ek saath? Kya tum bhi Freddy?

ACP: laga toh Abhijeet... Khair wapas chal ke pata kar lenge...

Scene 3

Qualis arrvies at Hotel Alekha... Everyone gets down... Daya parks Qualis while Freddy locates someone...

Freddy: Sir woh raha Sudhakar... (Shouts) Sudhakar... Sudhakar...

Sudhakar reaches towards Freddy and rest of the team...

Sudhakar: Aaree sir aap log yahan...

ACP: pehle batao tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Sudhakar shows them the same letter and says " aaj subah hi mila sir meri bike par"

Daya: Matlab saaf hai sir yeh ladki ya toh Priyanka hai ya Asha...

A manager approaches... "Sir aap log Mumbai CID se hai naa aur aap Poona CID se?"

Everyone nods

Manager: yeh aap ko adhe ghante mei tayyar hokar niche humare mini hall mei milna hai...

Daya: Manager, kaun kar raha hai yeh sub haan? Kisne book kiye humare rooms...

Manager: aadhe ghante me sab pata chal jaayega sir...

Scene 4

ACP, Abhijeet, Daya, Fredricks and Sudhakar are sitting in Mini Hall which is decorated like party...

Freddy: Sir yeh kidnapper pagal lagta hai... Hall ko aise sajaya hai jaise koi party ho...

ACP: haan Freddy,

Meanwhile Asha, her husband Ajay and her 6 year daughter Aastha enter... They are in a party dress and a waiter enters with a cake...

Everyone surprised...

Daya: toh yeh sub tumhara drama tha Madam? Maine kaha tha naa sir handwriting jaani pehchani hai...

Asha: (smiling) Sorry..

ACP: (a bit annoyed) yeh sub kya hai Asha? Tum Iss tarah...

Asha: (taking her daughter near her) Aastha ka birthday hai sir woh aap logon ke saath manana chahati thi...

Abhijeet: Asha tum jaanti ho hum CID officers hai kisi bhi waqt koi bhi emergency...

Asha: (interrupting) jaanti hoon Abhijeet sir maine bureau me sab se baat kar li hai woh sambhal lenge Sirf ek din ka toh sawal hai... Aur rahi baat kisi emergency ki toh aapke phones on hai sir aur hum Mumbai se sirf uske 1 ghante ki doori par hai...

ACP: ab samaj aaya Abhijeet sab ka ajeeb sa vyavahaar... Asha tumne jo...

Aastha: Mujhe wish nahi karenge Nanu? (Exttends her hand)

ACP bends down and hug her "Happy Birthday Beta"...

Ajay: haan sir chaliyee cake kaat lete hai...

They cut cake together and Aastha cuts cake and feeds to ACP sir first he lovingly feeds her back. Then she feed to Duo and they feed her back and kiss her saying "Happy Birthday Princess"... Then she feeds to Sudhakar-Fredricks and they feed her back and kiss her forehead... Snacks are distributed while Asha is at the snacks counter... Fredricks and Sudhakar are enjoying over a glass of colddrink as if lost in their own world... ACP sir is caressing Aastha like a grandfather caressing his grand-daughter Ajay is taking care of management...While duo approach Asha...

Abhijeet: Asha!

Asha: Aaree sir aapko kuch chahiyee?

Daya: baat karni thi hume... Yeh sub kya hai Asha? Yeh iss tarah se bulana haan?

Abhijeet: Aastha ko tum Mumbai le aaati... Yahan tak aayi ho toh... Mumbai aane mei kitna waqt lagta?

Asha: haan sir Mumbai le aati toh aap log apne busy schedule se 1.5 ghanta ya zyada se zyada ek ghannta nikate par woh sukun woh aaram woh befikari nahi hoti sir jo ab hai... Aap ko yaad hai sir abhi kuch waqt pehle maine aap logon ke saath jo case solve kiya... Tub maine observer kiya tha... Fredricks ka itne saare officers ki bheed mei bhi woh Akelapan, ACP sir ke aakhon ka woh khalipan aur aap dono... Bhale hi aap dono ke pass ek dosre ka saath hai par main daave se keh sakti hoon aap dono aaj bhi chain ki neend bhi nahi so paate honge? Hain naa? (Duo are dumbstruck) Wahan dekhiyee sir, Sudhakar aur Fredricks ke chehre ki khushi... ACP sir ke aankhon ki chamak dekhiyee sir Aur aap dono aapne dil par haath rakh kar meri nazron se nazre mila kar batayee aap log khush nahi hai?

Duo- khush hai Asha magar

Asha: Aap log mera parivar the sir... Agar main apne parivaar ko thodisi khushi deni chahi toh kya mera itna bhi haq nahi banta?

Duo - (with moistened voice) Nahi Asha... Haq...

ACP - Abhijeet, Daya...

Duo - ji sir?

ACP - tum dono princess kehte ho naa Aastha ko iss ke liye gift laayee?

Abhijeet: (slapping his forehead) opps main bhool gaye...

Daya: (chewing his tounge) Main bhi bhool gaya sir...

Aastha: Nanu aap bhi bhool gaye ho! (Laughing)

ACP: Aaree haan mai bhi bhool gaya hoon... Magar yeh sab aapki Mumma ki wajah se huva hai.. Unhone hume aap ki birthday party ke baare mei bataya hi nahi... Koi baat nahi... Chalo Daya gaadi nikalo hum abhi aapke liye aap ki manpasand gift le ke aayenge...

Sudhakar: Sir hum dono bhi aate hai hume bhi toh gifts lene hai... Aastha beti ke liye...

They leave... Ajay comes and stands near Asha...

Asha: Ajay maine kuch galat toh nahi kiya?

Ajay: (smiles) kabhi kabhi humari khushi hume khud samaj nahi aati par humare aapne uss samaj kar hume uss se wakif karate hai... Tumne bas wahi kiya... I am proud of you sweetheart...

Asha: thanks Ajay... (Smiles)
