Interesting plot and very well-written GD.😊 but there are two things, I did not understand.

1st thing is, if Nakul is an unwanted child, then who are the people claiming to be his parents? I mean, I understand about the mother, but what about her husband? if he is not the biological father, and that's why did not accept the kid, then why now? actually it would be nice if you give a bit details of their story.

second thing is, whatever they did, is a criminal offence, no matter under what circumstances. if they did not want the baby, they could put him up for adoption. but abandonment of a 10 day's old baby in garbage, would surely cause his death, if Daya did not rescue him. According to sec- 317 of Indian Penal Code, whoever being the father or mother of a child under the age of twelve years, or having the care of such child, shall expose or leave such child in any place with the intention of wholly abandoning such child, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or fine, or with both.

so, being the part of police force, it's the duty of CID to arrest the parents as soon as possible. and no police officer has the right or power to take the decision of giving the child to them, it entirely depends on the decision of Court.

Read half of it... half left...the way u started the story is mindblowing.. why does FW miss such scenes... it cud make cid classy.. appoint urself as a story writer.. dono behan bhai mil kar stories likhna aur issi bahane shreya ko DS se dur rakhna...
