Only Male Dominance...???

CID is undoubtedly the best crime based show.
But, one thought is running in my mind. Males are given MORE importance and of course screen time than women. Not in Forensics (Dr.Taarika is given equal importance as Dr.Salunkhe).The appearance of our great trio has been cut down. The other officers like Sachin, Rajat and Pankaj are seen more. No problem

What I mean to say is that the female officers are not given enough importance. There is no senior inspector...
All the lady officers have to say "Sir" to others but NO Male officer calls them "Madam".

Alongwith the trio, there should be at lleast ONE senior officer which should be called Madam by Freddy, Rajat, Sachin etc. like Daya and Abhijeet are called.

A show like CID should focus on this.

Lady officers are given importance only when they have to catch some girl/woman criminal and to slap her just because MEN cant slap her..!!

I agree women are not given much importance in CID, Last time I heard Freddy call Mam to Aditi (Smita Bansal). But then I cannot take any other women in CID holding a equal position t trio apart from Asha (Ashwini Kalsekar) If they ever take a senior female officer it has to be Asha. I cannot take any other women in that position equal to my DUO

I agree .. during the earlier phase that is Asha-Aditi era .. we've had them supporting duo equally .. especially during Asha phase .. but with time that has reduced.
Firstly they need to find such an actress who is capable of portraying a senior role .. I would want such an experienced actress to join in the forces sharing equal responsibility as duo. The present to lady officers are great I totally agree but playing senior cop role ? No.

Another issue has been the huge team !! Too many characters have made it a mess. Even during Tasha's time it did not seem awkward as team was compact and responsibility equally distributed.

We don't need so many male cops .. instead of one of them if we had a female cop it would've seemed better IMO.

and another male sr. officer ? not required as suggested it would be better if there was one female sr. Insp. along with duo.

I agree with ya Bhavana di.the team is huge..The present female cops are good but as u said even i dont think they can play a senior cop role.. Two male actors can be removed an replaced with a female sr.insp.

Somehow the ladies only seem to add glamour quotient...I would definitely want a senior lady inspector...like Asha...who can be equal to duo...and carry friendly convos with them...and they not treating her like a kid.

Exactly...& also to slap woman criminal 😆 I think what importance is given to Asha or Aditi, no other female cop gets such importance...

i agree fully with you😉
they just bring in female cops to stand in one corner, call everyone sir and slap the female criminals. Asha and aditi were two only females who were given importance.😭 I would really love to hear the word mam by a male cop in CID😃, the females are not just there for glamour,😭 FW should give them strong roles and dialouges, some good action😈. And male cops sidelining the females is very irrritating😡
Females deserve equal screenspace and more scences, higher ranks and proper dialouges like the males😊
