completely agree with bhavana di
i too believe there should be a senior cop but the female cops in the show now don't seem onto that bar
if they bring some powerful female character i will be surely in for it

Team Silver Trio

I really don't have much to add from what has already been said by Vis di, Bhav, and Sree...

The female cops currently in the show are awesome and all, but I don't really see them as senior cop material. We need someone who can think for themselves. For example, the latest example I can think of is in Sunday's episode where Shreya waited for Abhijeet sir to tell her to phone the ambulance for Suhasi. I'm pretty sure Shreya could have done that without waiting.

And also nowadays the female cops have been sidelined to slapping and disguises basically. You can't really see that as senior cop material.

Finally, the size of the team has made it such that it doesn't matter whose a senior cop and who isn't. Because we never get to see them portraying that senior cop role.

But then I cannot take any other women in CID holding a equal position t trio apart from Asha (Ashwini Kalsekar) If they ever take a senior female officer it has to be Asha. I cannot take any other women in that position equal to my DUO

Thanks for the reply😊
Agree...Asha was really good.

Firstly they need to find such an actress who is capable of portraying a senior role .. I would want such an experienced actress to join in the forces sharing equal responsibility as duo. The present to lady officers are great I totally agree but playing senior cop role ? No.

Another issue has been the huge team !! Too many characters have made it a mess. Even during Tasha's time it did not seem awkward as team was compact and responsibility equally distributed.

We don't need so many male cops .. instead of one of them if we had a female cop it would've seemed better IMO.

and another male sr. officer ? not required as suggested it would be better if there was one female sr. Insp. along with duo.

True. The lady senior cop should not be young as Poorvi or Shreya. She must be somewhat like Abhijeet and Daya. She should act ON HER OWN.
Agree completely with you. The team is filled with unnecessary male cops. They have nothing to do and they eat up the time of our trio...😭

Right. Female officers deserve higher designation and mature treatment too...
It would be fun watching female officers driving and running behind male criminals and slapping them too...

they just bring in female cops to stand in one corner, call everyone sir and slap the female criminals. Asha and aditi were two only females who were given importance.😭 I would really love to hear the word mam by a male cop in CID😃, the females are not just there for glamour,😭 FW should give them strong roles and dialouges, some good action😈. And male cops sidelining the females is very irrritating😡
Females deserve equal screenspace and more scences, higher ranks and proper dialouges like the males😊

Dialogues are also a big issue. Mostly, they are provided only the side or repeating dialogues like "Yes..Sir.." or they just support the male officers...🤢

This should be avoided.

This topic is realy needed...I too was feeling this for last few days...!! talking about past cases of asha era the cases were just awesome...!!!
Nowadays i felt the same tyepe of that courage and power in tashs and now in Purvi...They showed this both ladies very good and doing many work which lady cops mostly never did in CID...
But recently, we see Purvi being sidelined...I hope they again understood her talent and can give her good role...
I must say shreya is improving a lot...
( I would love to see Purvi & shreya friendship...As was little shown in Rahasyamay hotel case and in Bank locker ka raaz...)
