And I assure you it was opened in all sincarity because people were doing all discussion of duo on GD thread

The forum needs more lively people. Some new members who are willing to come forward and post caps and discuss...like there was a phase when Nandini, Deepika etc were all newbies and had fun. There has to be something interesting happening on TV too...not these vanishing acts, duo-together-only-in-OTT-scenes and Nik's saree draping lessons.

It didnt become inactive because of AS- DS thread

And comments on pic gallary didnt loose its charm because of AS DS thread

It was allays inactive

Atleast I didnt see any activity on it before or after AS DS thread was opened

So in my openion AS DS thread has nothing to do with popularity or downfall of comments on pic gallary thread

The truth is the opener of that thread left this place in a rather different way which led to its downfall

Nandini...the first Comments on Pic gallery thread was opened in March 2010 and thread 2 in Nov.

The present AS-DS thread was opened in March 2012 and in Sep we are in page 84.

If a new person were to join today, s/he would feel the same about the AS-DS thread.

PS: The opener of the Comments on Pic Gallery thread is very much active. The thread 2 was opened by another member becasue the first opener was not available on the required day.

I know... But it more is like that.. so why do we have to keep lying to ourselves ..calling it a duo thread... ???? Things have changed here on the forum on need basis... I think this change won't make a big difference... at the max,,.. i see only one person being effected and thats only me... I have no problem posting AS caps.. and discussing AS... on that thread... lets calls it only AS thread and go ahead..

anyways there are episode cap threads where DS caps are posted along with everyone else... I'll discuss DS where everyone else does..

If it's only AS thread .. that would be really wrong .. atleast I would not ever wish like visiting the thread even for the caps. It's a personal opinion .. there are some who post duo caps ... the thread is about 'duo' ,,, we do at times discuss some memorable duo moments there isn't it ? I personally would never like a separate thread for AS and DS .. agar aisa hi hai we have their respective info threads.

The fact remains that most of us are busy...and we want some more people to initiate the discussions.

We need sincere, active newbies.

An only AS thread is same as FC

Check out the frequency Bhavs... duo are discussed once in a blue moon... I can give you the stats of the thread if you want.. #of AS discussions posts.. # of DS discussion posts and # of duo discussion posts...
and currently looking at the last 30-40 pages all i see is # of AS discussion posts is - 90%
# of Duo discussion posts - 8%
and # of DS discussion posts is 2%
