Vivek no more a part of CID - Page 2

This is really sad but everybody has the right to decide his/her future. There wasn't much for him to do in the show since last year and he was being ignored.
I wish him all the best for his future.

We have seen so many good actors come and go tthat at the moment I feel only numbness on hearing this news. Na khushi hai aur na gam. Anyway I wish him all the best

What an irony...last banner contest we excluded him...now we made sure he's there in the banner and he's leaving...

That's exactly what I thought.

This was expected and I fear it's just the beginning. ..
Bring in more people FW .. you'll manage to bring a brand new team I guess .. :-/ !!
This was ought to happen thanks to FW and new members .. why should he stick to the show when he's not being given a chance to grow ?? And is just being made to thok salaam to all new people coming.
I'm really depressed .. but I support his decision ..

See growth in the designation on the show shouldn't be equated with opportunities given to him. He might have hung on if he had enough screenspace and visibility despite vivek the cop remaining a Jr guy. With tri weekly they could just increased his screen time instead of bringing a crowd. Why have 5 cops in one place? 2 are enough...vivek and one lady cop can do some investigation on their own. Why is a third sr insp required? We can argue on and on. we now have 3 sr insps and 3 insp...and 2 ladies...still an unwanted crowd. No need for nik and vineet at all.

Ranks matter Vis .. they really do. For an actor who's been playing a role for long and then suddenly you're bringing some new people and making them senior and making these actor equivalnt to some even worse ones .. it actually disappoints them. Ranks matter a lot .. especially in such shows .. Viivek and Vivek's character both weren't being given a chance to grow and flourish then why should he stick to that ?? And that's why he left ..

I agree with Bhavs . Ranks in shows like CID mean a lot. What is it that Freddy received in these 15 years? He has been sidelined always. At least till 2008-09 he had made a name for himself.. ( although if it was for wife and aatma ! ) But since bi-weekly, tell me a single memorable scene he was a part of !!!! Other than making a fool of himself at times and other than being made to ask silly questions and getting scolded by trio and Sachin what has he achieved? No one talks about him after an episode ends. His absence is not even felt by most people. And now with Rajat and Vineet as his seniors, what do you expect?? Vivek left the show for his own good... he has a future he needs to think of. I wont be surprised if suddenly Dinesh sir leaves the show too .. and I cant completely blame him for that.
